The Lincoln Riley at USC is not the Lincoln Riley we saw at Oklahoma.

That is such a lie. His first loss was Iowa State. No one was focused on him after that one. It was all Mike Stoops, as it had been for years leading up to that point.
Lincoln Riley mentioned his time at Oklahoma and how he's used to highs and lows: "The first loss that I ever had at Oklahoma, one, I didn't even think I was going to be able to get out of bed the next morning. But on top of that, there were people willing to run me out of town right away. And I learned the lesson pretty quick that the highs and lows of this thing in my position, if you let those get to you, then you're the wrong person for the job. By the end of the year, we went on a run and everybody was saying all this and that, which was making me look way better than I certainly was at the time by any stretch. But that was my first, my christening as a head coach and a head coach of a blue blood school."

5 years later and it really did go down about as poorly as we all remember.
NEW: USC head coach Lincoln Riley on feeling urgency and being mentioned for other jobs:
"If I didn’t want to be at this place, I wouldn’t have come here in the first place. I’ve had plenty of opportunities to leave. This is where I want to be. This is the right place for me. I’m the right person to be here."

USC fans are down so bad they’re coping off of an Oklahoma team that was made up of Bob Stoops’ players.
When Lincoln Riley walked into Columbus Ohio and beat #2 Ohio State… He’s done it before (with a Heisman Baker Mayfield) he has the ability to do so.
It could happen. 🤷♂️
(Yes I know totally different team obviously)
