So this thread is the story of how I started rescuing bunnies. This is precious. In 2010 my former boss got him for me. He only lived three years and was very sick. He came from a pet shop. I didnβt know anything about adopting or rescuing. I quickly learned though!

What my friends at ACC say about me: I have lived with cats in my previous home. I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe. I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you. Nelly tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. β€οΈ π»β€οΈ π»β€οΈ π»

Thanks to donors like you, we can step in when local shelters reach out for help. Last week we were asked to take a mom & 6 newborns. We didnβt hesitate & now the family is in a foster home. ππ°

π₯³π₯³π₯³WONDERFUL NEWSπ₯³π₯³π₯³ β BUBBLE TEA HAS BEEN ADOPTED πππΊπππ₯³
β¨Bless the adopter β¨
Thank you so much to all the generous people who shared and pledged for BUBBLE TEA.
If you would like to apply your pledge (roll it over) from BUBBLE TEA to one of the other needy EPL kitties, Please let me know and in your response please tag: @AdamsPaulGrimke, @mehser12. We can allocate to the most urgent ones.
We have a large number of kitties at risk and all are too low on pledges and being overlooked in shelter and on X.
We wish little BUBBLE TEA a happy new life full of love π

What my friends at ACC say about me: I have lived with cats in my previous home. I would like a home where there is another cat that I can play with! I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace. I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe. I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you. A volunteer writes: If we asked Bubble Tea (and she could tell us) she'd probably say that she isn't asking for a lot. A place to snuggle up and think her thoughts, dream her dreams and be her best kitty self with a family who supports that quest, albeit from a bit of a distance. And herein lies the caveat to what Bubble Tea so earnestly asks. Reportedly friendly and outgoing with other cats, Bubble Tea tends to shy away from human friends. She plays gently and enjoys sitting at a window, but might not be the type to twirl into your lap for pets. We've heard Bubble Tea is curious about other cats and plays gently with them as well. She's hoping you'll give her a chance. Bubble Tea tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent and may need time to warm up to her new home. β€οΈ π»β€οΈ π»β€οΈ π»
