🧵🧵 Which league is the most COMPETITIVELY BALANCED amongst Europe’s top 5? I collated NINE important metrics to help compare which league has the most balance across the entire table. This looks at competitiveness WITHIN the league. Analysis done for: - 2025/2026 season - Last 5 seasons - Last 10 seasons Does the Premier League have more tight games? Does La Liga produce more high-scoring one-sided games? Does the Serie A have so many more champions over the years? Are the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 ā€œfarmers leagueā€? Results are shown in the thread 🧵

Was the worst player on the pitch imo. And by far. But he truly helped this side of their game.
Bernardo Silva is the reason Real Madrid had a clean build—up. It was what he did for Pep Guardiola for 9 years xitter.cf/Analystcanice/status/2…

Hansi Flick needs to fix so many things with the structure and press. And managing the players rhythm, fitness, and mentality.

One sequence in the game where BarƧa won the ball in front of Real Madrid’s box. Ball got to Lamine Yamal, Cancelo free to his right, but Yamal used the outside of his foot to shoot wide. I almost ran mad šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Hansi Flick needs to find a solution to handling the possible danger bigger teams can cause. He has been very very terrible over the past few games. With his subs. With his set up. With his rigidity in defence. The team is always wary of the threat bigger teams pose, so they are not very confident to create threats themselves so as to prevent breaks. It is Hansi Flick’s duty to find solutions. Yes we want to play arrogantly, but we cannot be as arrogant as we should be if there is no defensive security. In his first year, the highline offside trap was his tool. He didn’t care. He played it with the belief that we will outscore our opponents. Nowadays he is caught between playing that and keeping the line deep. The pressure to change his style… he must fix it. We had money to sign physical CBs, he didn’t go for them. We need more physical profiles. Hansi Flick is under fire now.

I believe the team can turn it around. I won’t take a draw. They have to win this game. Our second halves this season have been better than the first. And Real Madrid usually have worse second halves. The team can do it. Vamos!!!

Though he did some good things, Pedri was abysmal. Can’t even say it’s fatigue, because that was why he was rested vs PSG yeah? Needs to step up in the second half. Rodri was basic. Raphinha nonexistent. Lamine Yamal spiceless. Fermin also can be faster with his decision making. Anthony Gordon had the best first half, but still a meagre 6/10. Something needs to change. We cannot lose this game.
