Totally agree, but there was an important word that preceded ‘randomisation’, PROPER! Removing people from one arm after randomisation systematically biases the results. As evidenced by some previous trials in HDF hence the need for @H4RT_UK @NICEComms @NIHRresearch #UKKW2019

Huge issue globally, reflected in variation in dialysis rates: "patients often tell researchers that they don’t recall making a decision, or even discussing one. Physicians frequently present dialysis as inevitable" @OSCAR_study @PrepareKC @UNPACKstudy aim to improve this!
