It’s never easy, but let’s drop the victim mentality. Sitting back and doing nothing is a choice. Communicate, showing them that you’re discerning and responsible, and push back if none of that works. Eventually, they have no choice but to respect your autonomy.
it’s not so easy to break free from the hold of abusive parents, especially in such a terrible country. they torment their kids from childhood and don’t stop even when they’re adults. there’s a lot of psychological damage that results from a lifetime of abuse and it takes a lot of mental strength to not become completely submissive. the kids mostly end up so deeply afraid that they can’t even save themselves. afraid of their parents, afraid to face the world on their own. it’s a lot really.

I’ve debated this with lots of adults, and it’s clear they’re just comfortable with their chains. It’s like reasoning with someone deep in religious indoctrination. All that control doesn't even build moral integrity; it just creates hypocrites waiting for a window to go crazy.
“whoever feeds you controls you” you would think this was about the dakar- niger railway strike of 1947, but no people are referring to the parents that gave life to them🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️

A girl asked me if it’s okay to tell her male friend to learn to wear better clothes and I had to explain to her that no man who has the means prefers to look shabby. don't go out of your way to make him feel insecure.
A 27 year old adult still doing wash and wear💔

One of my favorite things about #OBX was how wholesome these random moments were.
What’s your favorite video , movie or series you ever have on your phone or seen??

So most of y’all grew up in homes where the most strenuous, heavy, or dangerous tasks were assigned to the males, except in their absence. Then you grew up to join the hive mind on social media, treating those traditional dynamics as inherently oppressive rather than functional.

These writers must think we’re foolish🤦🏾‍♂️ In S4E22, tell me why Tim has a doppelgänger (Dim), his girlfriend (Juicy) also happens to be Lucy’s doppelgänger, and now Tim & Lucy have to "practice" kissing to play them undercover?? This isn’t even a sci-fi series, it’s fucking LAPD!

In no particular order: 20 years to come Margaret I believe Healing I might as well just list the entire album ❤️
Now that you have digested the album, what’s your favorite song?

I had an amazing day. I put in effort into making sure every year feels like this, and I’m so lucky to have family and friends who ignite it. I’m truly grateful.

Someone once told me maybe I’m the problem bc of my track record of ending relationships. I just laughed, because you're better off with me who will walk away the second i feel disrespected. Niggas out here will wait decades to get their lick back.
I once waited 14 years to get back at a lady. Got my revenge after 14 years of planning. Destroyed everything she ever loved and amassed, including her marriage. She took something dear to me, i took away her world.

Obsession with squirters is one thing, I don’t understand why he loves possessed babes always singing about an ogbanje, mami water, water spirit. On top of that he believes he’s some celestial being. I love how abnormal he is 😭😆
We need to discuss Omah Lay's obsession with squirters 😭

"Pregnancy is a risky venture, but not a death sentence" ➡️ “You’re minimizing the risk!”  "Investigate before punishing" ➡️ “You’re an apologist!” "Exercise caution with strangers" ➡️ “Stop victim blaming!” You dare not present facts to people who want to be victims so bad.
Men and women are so different mehn. You'd be speaking words, and instead of women to be understanding it, or trying to get your pov, they're instead "feeling" the words. So,the statement "Pregnancy is a risky venture, but not a death sentence" invokes feeling of, 'they are minimizing the risk associated with pregnancy' to the women that hear it. Men are arguing the logical and literal accuracy of the statement, while women are arguing against the statement cause it makes them feel unappreciated for the huge risk they went through. So, it's basically two different arguments God is probably laughing at how funny the interaction between both genders is.

You’ll only truly understand the mob hate if you’ve ever been targeted by a hive mind bc you represent a standard they know they could never be. Suddenly all your actions or inaction get twisted out of bitterness. When you're loved by a lot, people have only one way to stand out.
You people will soon tell us what Mummy Zee did to you. In those days, this behaviour was called witchcraft.
