Recruiting for an Interim President at North Seattle College! #recruiting lnkd.in/gT-CuAF2
I'm simultaneously humbled and incredibly proud to step in as acting chancellor of the district where I've dedicated my 22 year career in community colleges. I look forward to working with my many colleagues at the Seattle Colleges Seigal Center, North Se…lnkd.in/g9eC72Cm
I interrupt my long hiatus from #TheTwitter to make this important announcement for @SouthSeattleCC: The @USPS now has Otter stamps!
Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday season, with joys both big and small, like this one. 🦦
Honored to be a panelist for @APAHENational annual conference today. Its renewing to hear/learn from/just BE with other Asian Am and Pacific Islander #HigherEd leaders. Though my sense of security/belonging have been ravaged of late, today my heart is full. 🤎 📸 @pinoybrutha
Humbled to share the panel with @FoothillPrez Thuy Nguyen & @StopAAPIHate founder Russell Jeung.
And sending love and gratitude to APAHE leaders @Rowena_SJCCPrez Abe Ali, Wyman Fong too!

Since I posted about anti-Asian violence in a complex time of focus on many forms of systemic racism, racist violence, and domestic terrorism, please see this repost to probe deeper into "whataboutism" and solidarity.

This image--every painful nuance of it: the girl looking furtively behind her, the mom looking apprehensively ahead, the hands clutched tightly, the feet ready to run--captures how I feel as an Asian American, a Filipina, a leader, and especially as a mother.

So thrilled to see a @SouthSeattleCC Otter, and our resident expert on all things planetary and galactic, @AlicesAstroInfo, mentioned in the @seattletimes article about #WinterSolstice! Join her for a sunset webcast at 3:45 today. seattletimes.com/seattle-new…
Honoring Veterans today, like my father, Ret Master Chief Rodrigo Rimando, Sr. He pursued a military career protecting our Democracy abroad when the US Navy recruited him and many others in the Philippines in the '50s. I'm grateful for his service, and that of ALL veterans today.
Take a deep breath with me, @SouthSeattleCC Otters.
Happy to follow up that I voted, AND it's been counted! Be sure to track your vote online in case there are issues (like unmatched or forgotten signature) that you can quickly resolve with @kcelections or your local elections office! #votingselfie #OttersWhoVote @SouthSeattleCC
🗳✅ @PresidentRosie took advantage of South's new @kcelections Ballot Drop Box on our main campus (6000 16th Avenue SW, Seattle, WA 98106) to cast her ballot this week! #OttersVOTE #VoteEarly #VotingMatters

Inspired by our shared history: Mexicans & Filipinos joined together for #DelanoGrapeStrike, when #AWOC & #NFWA merged to become one union, giving birth to #UFW! #WorkersRights #LarryItliong #CesarChavez #PhilipVeraCruz #DoloresHuerta #FAHM2020 #HHM2020 #IsangBagsak #SiSePuede
It feels like a good night to return to Twitter to remind the @SouthSeattleCC raft of Otters and West Seattle neighbors that we have a new @kcelections ballot box in the front of campus ready for you to cast your vote 24/7 when they arrive by mail!

Educators say that what is not taught in school about Black history serves to erase the history of systemic racism in America. Today, on #Juneteenth, we honor the contributions of Black communities and keep fighting for racial justice. nbcnews.com/news/us-news/jun…
