Oof, @Ryanair I knew you had a poor rep but I haven't even taken a flow and you are messy. You won't take any of my cards/paypal, finally do (but only in NOK), now your saying I booked via a 3rd party site and need to go through hoops to confirm? I literally used your website!

We are saddened to hear of the passing of former Boise State gymnast Hailey Okula. Our thoughts are with her husband and newborn as they navigate this tragic loss. The GoFundMe link is attached below: 🔗 boi.st/42in6He

Walking around the streets of Berkeley now that the meet is over, all I can can think is @CalWGym needs a bubble tea themed leo. I swear every block has at least two bubble tea stores.

If you're in the San Francisco Bay Area and felt (or didn't feel) rumbling around 2pm LT, there was a M3.7 near Hayward in the East Bay. The USGS welcomes your Did You Feel It? account: earthquake.usgs.gov/earthqua…

Since I've been going through old newspapers and school yearbooks looking up gymnastics rosters, I've decided to make a thread to share some of the gems (?) I find. Starting off with this doozy re:Duke gymnastics in 1979.

This comes from 1990, Michigan had to scramble to find a new opponent when Illinois's team came down with measles. Here's hoping this doesn't happen again, but with anti-vax on the rise, who knows?

When I say #1 gym fan has done more to promote NCAA gymnastics than anyone within the NCAA themselves...

“Lets get more eyes on the sport” there is literally not one single legal way for international fans to watch ANY ncca gym meets, across all conferences. Accessibility is the issue

Gymnastics fans want: Difficult routines (don't need to be weekly, but SV requirements for 10.0 should be higher) Better commentators (so the sport can be understood) Better accessibility (reduce subscriptions/paywalls, upload all routines and meets post-meet) Not 10s for fun

Here's hoping they get rid of the whole coaching staff and wipe the slate clean. The gymnasts deserve better.

I just scheduled a GP appointment with a new doc since I relocated to California from out of state, she's a lesbian who's name is literally Dr. Gay. If that's not the most SF thing, idk what is.
