We are so proud of all we have done together in the last few years, but recently life has gotten in the way. Our Committee has become smaller, and our lives have become busier.
We are taking a break from Pride in Diversity. Not forever, but for a little while.

Today marks Transgender Day of Remembrance. We remember and honour all too many beautiful souls who lost their lives to waiting lists and anti-trans violence. Vigils are happening all over the UK and the world today. We encourage you to join in solidarity with the community.

Some reminders for #ComingOutDay!
🌈 There is no ‘right’ way to come out.
🌈 It's OK to not want to be 'out' in every context.
🌈Coming out is also only a part of your LGBTQ+ journey. It doesn’t define who you are!
Find advice on coming out via our hub: stonewall.org.uk/national-co…
We have just received £300 from the @AsdaFoundation #GreenTokenGiving!
This will help massively as we work towards planning our 2023 event!
Thank you to everyone who voted for us!

We’re so glad @YorkPride was a huge success! Seeing this makes us even more excited for 2023, and Pride in Diversity being back too!!
Oh my goodness! It’s this view that gets me every year and makes it all worthwhile! It’s been a really tough year to get the @YorkPride Machine rolling after a 2 year break! (1/2)

Organisers @Pride_Diversity say a lack of volunteers is behind the move - but more people have now come forward to help next year.

It’s with regret that we announce there will no Pride in Diversity, in June 2022. We have spent a long time trying to make the event work but it is not meant to be this year.
We love organising this day for our community, but the pandemic has affected us, both in terms of people and resources.
We want to put on our event in 2023 but to do so, we need your help. While financial help is always welcome, this time we need people.
