⛳ Course Review: Broadlands Golf Club | North Prairie, WI ⭐ Primetime Golf Rating: 8.1/10 Broadlands is a scenic, links-style public course with a ton of variety. It’s fairly wide open, but thick fescue, rough and plenty of water can punish you quickly. My full review 🧵👇

The layout is the biggest highlight for me. There are a lot of memorable holes, including some really fun short par 4s and four par 5s that I enjoyed. My favorite is #3 — a 365-yard downhill dogleg left with water and fairway bunkers that make you think off the tee. The greens were another highlight. They weren’t overly fast, but had plenty of undulation and were in really good shape.

My biggest complaint: pace of play. We had a 9:20 tee time and didn’t get off until around 9:45, then the front 9 took roughly 3 hours. I’ve played Broadlands twice this year and experienced similar tee-time delays both times. $90 on a Saturday morning felt a little high, but overall I really enjoy the course and would gladly play it again. ⭐ 8.1/10 Have you played Broadlands? Is 8.1 a fair rating?

WHAT A SHOT! WHAT A MATCH! 👏👏👏 Ryder Cowan leaves his second in the rough, but follows it up with a SPECTACULAR par to defeat Miles Russell, 2 and 1.

Fed Ex St Jude Picks🚨🚨 Hideki Matsuyama (Top 5) Hideki comes into the week in excellent form, finishing T7, T5, and T3 over his last three starts. He also has a great track record at TPC Southwind, highlighted by his win here in 2024 at -17. He hasn't finished worse than T17 in his last three appearances at this event, making him one of my favorite plays to stay hot with another top-five finish. Collin Morikawa (Top 5) Morikawa has been extremely consistent at TPC Southwind, finishing T22 or better in each of his last four appearances. He's also playing solid golf coming in, with finishes of T18, T3, and T17 over his last three starts, two of which came in majors. After taking a few weeks off since The Open, he should be rested and ready for a course that fits his elite approach game extremely well. Sam Burns + Tommy Fleetwood (Top 10 parlay) Fleetwood has been outstanding at TPC Southwind recently, finishing T3 in 2023, T22 in 2024, and T3 again in 2025, shooting a combined 35-under over those 12 rounds. Burns brings the current form, finishing T19 or better in four of his last five starts and already recording five top-10 finishes this season. Burns' strong Bermuda putting is another reason to like him at Southwind, and he's getting plenty of attention as a contender this week. With Fleetwood's course history and Burns' current form, I love pairing the two for top-10 finishes.

Rocket Classic Picks🚨🚨 Jake Knapp (Top 5) Jake Knapp returns to the Rocket Classic after a T4 finish here last season, proving Detroit Golf Club is a course that suits his game. He also enters the week with momentum after another strong showing at the 3M Open. Knapp's combination of length off the tee and aggressive scoring ability makes him an excellent fit for a tournament that typically turns into a birdie-fest. He’s starting to look healthier, I like his chances to be in contention once again this week. Ryan Gerard (Top 20) Ryan Gerard has quietly put together one of the more consistent seasons on the PGA Tour and continues to trend in the right direction. He's coming off an impressive T9 finish at The Open Championship. Gerard has consistently gained strokes with his ball striking throughout the year, and his steady all-around game makes him a strong candidate for another solid finish. A top-20 result feels well within reach. Chris Gotterup (Top 10) AND Ben Griffin (Top 20) Parlay Chris Gotterup continues to be one of the hottest players on Tour, finishing T18 or better in each of his last three starts. Ben Griffin has quietly been one of the most consistent players this season, recording finishes of T21 or better in three of his last four starts. Detroit Golf Club has been a great fit for Griffin throughout his career, highlighted by a T13 finish last year and finishes of T33 or better in each of his previous two appearances. With Gotterup's current form and Griffin's combination of consistency and course history, this is my favorite parlay on the card.
