We support the call for restricting the sale and marketing of energy drinks to children and young people, as new research reveals the impacts are more significant and broader than previously understood. buff.ly/4bma8fw

I'm so honoured to be the first Black medical doctor globally to have curated an anthology on eating disorders. We definitely need MUCH MORE diverse ethnic representation in this field.

OMG fruit is fine! I never imagined my job as a dietitian would include explaining why fruit isn’t poison.
Fruit isn’t just sugar ffs. It’s mostly water & nutrients like fibre, vitamins, & minerals!
Each 10g of fibre in your diet lowers your risk of colorectal cancer by 10%.
A must listen for your day.
I realise the #SingingDietitian has been a bit quiet recently! But behind the scenes, a new #musical ditty has emerged 🎶🎵 Here it is now, for your viewing pleasure. It's called (aptly) U.P.F. 🍔🍫🍭
Enjoy 🙂👉youtu.be/Tv6QhFiUXgY
Today’s adventure was chairing a round table event on #blendeddiets which was educational for me and lovely to hang with other dietitians! Always a treat. #whatdietitiansdo #freelancelife

ALT Gerome Breen, Professor of Psychiatric Genetics at King’s College London’s IoPPN and NIHR Maudsley Bioresource lead said: “We hope this project will enable a step change in how eating disorders research is carried out. Through the clinical research network and its database, it will be possible to consider treatment outcomes across services, helping to identify why some treatments may work better than others.”

Yesterday's #CommunityDietitian clinic, elderly patients and their families "appolgised" for using #readymeals as they struggle to feed and care for themselves and loved ones. This #UPF "debate" lacks nuance, risks pushing more into #malnutrition @BDA_olderpeople @RD_Catherine
