Two awards, ten years apart, both for drama serials that raised such important social issues — child sexual abuse and population planning. #Udaari and #ZardPattonKaBunn. Both issues run deep into the fabric of our society and are, in many ways, inextricably linked. Overpopulation, poverty and child safety are closely interconnected, and addressing these challenges requires us to look beyond the symptoms to the underlying social realities. Through research, sensitivity and meticulous attention to detail, Kashf Foundation has become a trailblazer in edutainment in Pakistan, demonstrating how storytelling can challenge social norms, raise awareness and open up conversations around issues that are often difficult to address. We remain deeply grateful to all the talented writers, directors, actors and television channels who continue to partner with us in using the power of storytelling to bring about social change. A special thank you to our Kashf Media team, Moneeza Hashmi and Imran Mahboob, for their foresight, vision and diligence in making this journey possible. @KashfFoundation @HashmiMoneeza @Humtvnetwork #SocialChange #Edutainment #WomenEmpowerment #ChildProtection #Pakistan
