I am one of a handful Black harpists in the UK. I am currently playing on a 27 string Celtic harp, but I now need a harp with more range.
I'd like this one but can't afford it; maybe someone will see this and gift it to me!

There remains a 4x difference in maternal mortality rates amongst women from Black ethnic backgrounds and a 2x difference amongst women from Asian ethnic backgrounds compared to white women, emphasising the need for a continued focus on action to address these disparities.
It's rare that we hear of the impact that the legacy of enslavement has on Black women - this is a necessary conversation that needs to be had.

Tim Westwood is not a legend, he's a nonce. The only reason he's been protected and been allowed to have his career is because a)his victims were black girls and b)he's white ergo an acceptable face to present black music and culture
Solidarity with all women/girls speaking out

Tim Westwood has been hiding in plain sight for so long .
A combination of his privilege as a White man and targeting mainly Black girls and women means that he keeps getting away with it.
Hopefully he won't get away with it anymore.

After 10 weeks of clapping for the NHS, the Tories have quietly announced they are terminating student nurse contracts out of the blue, after paying them for only one month of Covid-19 work, leaving them without income. Why is no one talking about this?
