NEWS: SpaceX has introduced a new product called the @Starlink Router Mini to improve the Wi-Fi range of the existing Starlink Mini dish.
The Router Mini is good for smaller spaces, homes with more basic WiFi needs, or to cover dead spots within a home. It works in most basic residential setups to extend coverage. You can also create a Starlink Mesh network by placing Starlink Mesh routers between your main router and areas with weak signals.
The main difference between the Starlink Router Mini and the Gen 3 Router is performance.
Starlink Router Mini specs:
• Dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz
• 2x2 2.4 GHz, 2x3 5 GHz MU-MIMO
• WPA2 security
• Operating Temperature: -22°F to +122°F (-30°C to +50°C)
• Compatible with all Starlink routers except Gen 1 (works with Starlink Mini, Gen 3 Router, Gen 2 Router)
The Starlink Router Mini is currently only available for purchase only in the United States through the Starlink Shop. If the Router Mini is not listed, it means the product is currently unavailable in your region.
