HiISTORICALLY, the administration thatβs in power often loses in the midterms. So, if Trump loses the midterms in his final term, he can always do what Obama did.
Obama had two years left to his second term when he lost in the midterms. He was a lame duck president whoβd lost the Senate, yet what did he say?
βIβve got a phone, and Iβve got a pen.β
And with those words, Obama proceeded to executive-order his entire legislation. He started thinking about every controversial move he could make, and then he acted on each one.
Obama decided that we should join the Paris Accordβs phony climate agenda, and he pledged us to a green deal with them. Next, Obama decided we should recognize Cuba, which we did. HolaΒ‘ Punch my travel ticket to Havana! Then, Obama decided we should join the Iran deal too. Done.
Obama did ALL of this without a senate, without a treaty, and without the 60-vote approval of the Senate.
So, before you leftists all crow that Trumpβs agenda will be dead in the water should Dems retake control of both Houses, remember Barack Obama had a phone π and a ποΈ.
Trump does too, only his phone has broader range and his pen has an endless supply of ink.
