The difference in surgical innovation, compared to drugs, is that often innovation is not evaluated. @david_j_beard reminds us of the importance of asking the question 'does it work?' in surgical trials, and adding in a placebo helps address how. #Placebo #RCTs

It is #nationalfitnessday! Did you know that encouraging employees to be active can be beneficial to employers? Being inactive for large portions of the day can lead to preventable health conditions, and #absence. Adding in even 1 hour of activity can help to balance this out.
