I’m the CEO of Product Hunt and see 100s of launches a week. My current thoughts on new infra begging for startups:
1) Voice AI - infra for voice agents is getting really good w @pipecat_ai @Vapi_AI @DeepgramAI @ElevenLabs et al. and yet I rarely see good voice tech in the real world.
2) Decision Models - Jev / @typesafeai leading the charge. It reminds me of the mech-building in Zelda TOTK - an explosion of possibilities!
3) Personal Agents - they work now. And they need tools, apps, MCPs.
4) Extensions (OpenAI). We all live in agentic interfaces now. It’s like a new platform. Someone needs to build a Slack replacement that lives in Codex, for example.

As CEO of Product Hunt, I see hundreds of launches a week. One trait separates winners from losers.
Every few months, new models come out. Some products become better, effortlessly. Some don't improve, or become irrelevant.
This property needs a name. I'm calling it Buoyancy.
Buoyant startups rise with model improvements the way a boat rises with the tide.
Anti-buoyant startups come in two flavors: over-scaffolded (which hinders the new, smarter models) and too thin - which makes them redundant when models improve.
To be buoyant, you need a "hull" - usually proprietary data, a vertical-specific harness, network effects, or distribution advantage. This hull keeps you buoyant as models improve.
Hulls are the new moats.
My number one advice to startups in 2026: Be buoyant. Find your hull.

I'm launching jambuild: fast multiplayer vibecoding powered by voice
Like @aaron_epstein and others, I've been searching for a truly magical multiplayer agent experience. I recently realized, in thinking about it, that multiplayer agentic coding is no fun if you have to wait for the agent, so I made an ultra-fast voice-driven harness.
I'm trying to recreate the flow of jamming with someone on @figma or on a whiteboard, but have the medium be code.
It uses @DeepgramAI and @pipecat_ai and a small model I trained to do pre-emptive turn detection, and non-thinking coding models with some speed optimizations.
It's live on Product Hunt, and since today is Hypership day, I'll get extra points if I build features you ask for. So...try it out and ask me for features!
