The Democrats still do not understand how we ended up with Trump. It is insane. The right did not start out to elect him. They were PUSHED into it. When @realDonaldTrump was elected for his first term, innumerable people including most of my academic colleagues said that the worst realities would befall the United States. None of those things happened. They then said that he would wait until his second term to end democracy, institute martial law, etc. None of those things have happened. Is there a SINGLE honest individual amongst those people who is willing to admit that they were grossly incorrect and hence irrationally unhinged?
