#TeamAMOS checking in with bunched of birthday blessings.
FDA AMDAC review of Merck’s molnupiravir EUA was 13 yes, 10 no. I voted no. Its 30% efficacy at best, use only by unvaccinated over 18, not pregnant, persons within 5 days of start of symptoms, necessary complete compliance and potential mutagenesis say risk outweighs benefit.
NPR Discussion on vaccine hesitancy among young black people is much needed. Questions should have a trusted safe relevant, “meet me where I am” place to be answered. [email protected]

Wonderfully written, well researched and thoughtful read that provides insightful perspectives on the two pandemics starkly unveiled in 2020. We can better appreciate their place in our collective history. Great journalism! sciencenews.org/century/epid…

From pandemic to endemic SARS CoV-2 will require wise decisions by leaders and each person. Required vaccines have stopped or reduced many illnesses - polio, measles, mumps, pertussis, chickenpox, smallpox, influenza... We must add COVID-19 to the list. teapawt.net/NYRBFan/status/1416885…
