I'm excited to chair @ChicagoKentLaw faculty hiring committee for 2022-2023. We expect to hire multiple positions (entry-level or lateral) in various areas, including corporate/securities & IP. Please apply if interested or recommend others to consider!

Sometimes you get to meet your hero! Thanks to Rose Lavelle for the autograph and brief chat with my daughter, one of her biggest fans! Great experience at our first Red Stars (and NWSL) game - high quality soccer and the chance for the kids to meet a bunch of players!

Law school marketing madness must stop. It’s worse than last year - more magazines. Might glance at a postcard. Definitely not opening a magazine. It’s 2021 - use email. Should be my last year as junior most tenured faculty (and thus voter) so I’ll soon be free from this

Hey law school administrators, You know what I learned from your mailings - you don't care about the environment or money! Send an email. I actually skim those. These went straight to recycling w/o me looking. Signed, A newly tenured USNews voter

RIP John Thompson. He made sure that Georgetown basketball was about more than just hoops, including the struggle for racial justice and the commitment to preparing players for the day when the ball stopped bouncing

I'm excited to announce that @ChicagoKentLaw is hiring the inaugural Galvin Chair in Entrepreneurship & Applied Legal Technology. We're focused on tenured scholars in IP, business law, reg of emerging tech, or applied legal tech. Email or DM me if interested or to suggest someone

My daughter is a recovering Dora addict - show, room decor, doll, etc. During the height of her addiction, I turned to this for comfort: youtu.be/eSL3z_uSRbM

Excitingly now in print - new book "The Law of Design" from my colleague @edleeprof (w/ @markpmckenna and Dave Schwartz). Really useful for someone like me who doesn't know much about these topics. Sure I'll be consulting frequently!

Looking forward to discussing SCOTUS Oil States case shortly @NDLaw @ND_IPLS

Panel on PTAB estoppel w/ Profs Sandrik, LaBelle & Moshirnia and Sara Horton of @JennerBlockLLP. Moderated by @edleeprof #powerofptab
