Rev. Samuel Mbabali and Akankwasa Queen tied knot today at @stfrancis_mak, with His Grace @Archbp_COU as the Main Celebrant. They are now the Mbabali’s! Rev. Samuel Mbabali is a renowned Bible expositor, a scholar of Greek and Hebrew, a priest at Kabuusu @ChurchofUganda_ and a PhD student in the USA. He is also a regular preacher at the @onlinecou Church of Uganda, founded by @Prof_Kitayimbwa and @Rev_Dr_LidyKitz. Queen is a prayer warrior and a parishioner at St. Luke’s Church of Uganda, Ntinda. Let me say something about Queen’s father, Mr. Amos Best Mashurubu, a renowned investor in the transport sector in Kanungu District whose kindness I have experienced firsthand. My brother @BrianAtuheire can testify. For as long as I can remember, he has transported passengers to and from Kanungu and Kabale. Whenever I was travelling to Kabale, he would take me for free because he said I was “a lovely young boy.” I can never forget. His wife is the Mission Coordinator (Missioner) at St. Andrew’s Church of Uganda, Kihihi, while Amos now has the contract to transport clergy in the Diocese of Kinkiizi whenever they are transferred. How wonderful that they now have a priest as their son-in-law! Amos loves people, and so is Queen. I am delighted for these two and pray that their marriage will be filled with love and joy. On record, it’s my very first time to be the MC at anyone’s wedding in my life. Congratulations, Sam and Queen!

Fresh week! Friday last week was something special. Now that the excitement has settled a little, I want to take a moment to say thank you to the people who made my MBA journey at Uganda Christian University (UCU) a memorable one. To the @UCUniversity Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic Affairs), Professor @Prof_Kitayimbwa , Madam Comfort of the Graduate School, and my supervisor, Professor Isaac Katono (ate gwe ndi Kojja wo), thank you for the guidance, patience and support throughout this journey. To all my lecturers, I am grateful for everything you taught me, both in and outside the classroom. I also want to thank @KKariisa , GCEO, and the entire Next Media management team for giving me the opportunity to pursue my studies while working. Juggling work, books, assignments and deadlines is not always easy. It takes a lot, and I know not every workplace makes room for that kind of growth. I am truly grateful that I had the opportunity to do both. To my friends who called, sent messages and celebrated with me, thank you. You made the moment even more special, and I do not take your love for granted. Looking back, this has been a journey of learning, growth, sacrifice and perseverance. To everyone who played a part, big or small, thank you for being part of my story. @UCU_Alumni @SimonKaggwaNjal @TusiimeSheila @ShamNabakooza @Ka_Kev1 @LMutesi_ @kaliisa47 @TraceyKansiime

😢Tough @ManUtd united but expected!. 8 managers in 12 years. All "bad". All players "poor". If 8 CEOs fail in your company in a short span , it's not the CEOs — it's the DIRECTOR. Man Utd is not a coaching problem, it's an ownership problem. CR7 said it in 2022.

As a long suffering @ManUtd fans, enough is enough. We need to get broke owners out of the club. They are running the club down the drain. This not an issue with the manager or the players, everything has to do with incompetent owners. Until we get rid of them, we will continue to suffer

"Once we allow God to renew us, the next step is to transform our mindset and rethink how we address society's challenges. At UCU, I call it 'business unusual,' not business as usual. As a country and continent, we need leaders who will do business unusual, leaders who will transform our infrastructure, private sector, education sector, and Church, making it more innovative, entrepreneurial, and self-reliant as we preach the Gospel. At Uganda Christian University, our mission is to raise a new generation of leaders who will bring positive transformation wherever God leads them. And we must start from Jerusalem."
