Here are the studies🧵Covid can cause; Cognitive impairment, brain shrinkage, heart attacks, strokes, kidney damage, lung damage, diabetes, clots & other blood disorders, immunological & neurological disorders. It is multisystem, acute & potentially chronic (1 in 10 infections)🧵

Where in the world do you get (a) Novavax or similar vaccine (b) Antivirals for acute Covid Ideally (a) + (b) together as it’s the optimal position to be in right now while facing wave 13 & undoubtedly wave 14-40 still to come

It’s the 13th wave of Covid right now. The 13th spin of the chamber. Many lives were destroyed from waves 1 to 12, but every wave is an opportunity to join them. The NYT is saying it out loud at last…

Restrictions on Covid vaccine access to the public, while Public Health Agencies across the UK quote vaccine use as offering enough “population immunity” to justify a massively restrictive policy on antiviral access for when you inevitably get Covid is criminal. Its illogical.
Dear @UKHSA @YvetteCooperMP, Why are the eligibility criteria so different for Covid vs Flu vaccines? Hardly anyone is eligible for a Covid vaccine despite studies showing that BOTH the acute & long-term impacts of Covid are comparatively WORSE than flu on almost every measure.

“Living with Covid” was supposed to mean adapting life to live with it, ie mitigations becoming the norm. That didn’t happen. It got translated into “ignoring Covid”, as all mitigations were quickly dropped & 2019 life resumed like nothing ever happened That was a massive mistake
In the face of a novel pandemic virus transmitted via the airborne route, we politicised respiratory protection rather than normalising it.

Welcome to the world of gaslighting, minimising, & psychologising of physical illness to blame the sufferer for being sick Vincent Kompany. Get a “viral infection” during the 13th global wave of “viral infection”, don’t recover, then collapse, then get blamed for being sick.

“We don’t even want to know if you have COVID or flu, because it just makes things complicated.” Patients aren’t being swabbed. I’ve been saying it for years. The data is largely meaningless. The true cost of Covid is unknown, but it’s certainly worse.

Going to work to knowingly infect vulnerable patients & colleagues is against the Duties of a Doctor as outlined by the GMC, yet harming your patients & colleagues has been normalised, I personally think it’s reckless & immoral.
NHS doctor: There’s COVID and flu armageddon in our hospital... It’s everywhere, to the point where they’re definitely not swabbing on purpose... They’re like, ‘We don’t even want to know if you have COVID or flu, because it just makes things complicated.’ youtu.be/n9v49YhY5oE

40 year old former athlete Vincent Kompany collapses following recent “viral infection”, taken to hospital. Wishing Kompany well, Covid is serious. 13th Covid wave globally in recent weeks & Covid is not “mild”, it never was. The delayed Covid consequences can be life changing.

13th Covid wave, most dominant viral infection globally, why didn’t they just say Covid? I hate pattern recognition.

The news channel that hasn’t mentioned the pandemic you are living in for over 4 years now is telling you to stockpile for emergencies. K.

I find it interesting that “worry” and “fear” or “anxiety” are attached so readily to Covid. It’s no accident. It’s part of the aggressive denial we see. There’s a big difference between being educated on Covid & being irrationally worried. The bigger question is why aren’t you?
I met an old friend recently, someone I haven't seen in years. Immediately noticing my mask, he said, 'are you still worried about Covid?'. I replied, 'yes'. He then said, 'Why? Sure everyone's had it now'. I don't think he understood when I then said, 'that's why I'm worried'.

The last few years have seen a sequential removal of most testing so comparing drastically reduced testing numbers to previous years is meaningless, we are in the 13th clear wave now

Covid infection causes frontal lobe brain damage (& every other lobe), so filtering of emotions is damaged, masks slip quicker, impulse control is weaker & anger leaks out. Covid proven to substantially raise dementia risk, & cause cognitive impairment

Hospital acquired (nosocomial) Covid in Welsh hospitals accounts for over 70% of Covid in their hospitals…patients who are given Covid while already in hospital. And they wonder why “pressures” haven’t eased 🙃
The Royal College of Emergency Medicine says immediate action is needed to avoid a potential 'disaster' in the Welsh NHS this winter, adding pressures have not eased over the summer. The Welsh Government says it's working with health boards on a year-round approach.

I don’t want any apology for what happened “during Covid” Because right now is during Covid. And all the mistakes of 2020 are still happening, except now they are official policy. It shouldn’t be dangerous to seek healthcare, or education, or work, or groceries. For many, it is

…for many it knowingly is. The risk calculations are needed every time for those who have already been injured permanently, or who wish never to be. The risk is real for all, whether acknowledged or not.

Covid mate. Shingles is a well recognised complication for anyone who’s had Covid, so yes, shingles at 27, as Covid messes with your immune system & allows other viruses to do their damage then.

They reported the numbers dying daily on TV for months. And people say a pandemic isn’t happening. Or that Covid is “mild” or “everyone overreacted” or “lockdowns shouldn’t have happened” or “never again”. Daily deaths reported on TV. How quickly people forget.
