All this does is reward Raman for having a bad take on Israel. The voters in LA will reward her for cutting ties with DSA, and all leverage to push her leftward will have been lost.
It’s counterintuitive, but this is 100% how her staff is seeing it!
The DSA National Political Committee has voted to unendorse and expel Nithya Raman
She has until October 31 to express clear direct support for BDS to retain endorsement, and until January 1 to condemn weapon shipments for Israel out of LAX to remain a member of DSA

It’s disappointing to have to say this, but @CBSNews, this is a serious failure of editorial reporting. I clearly state in this clip that while I have not personally been to Cuba, I have spoken with Cubans who have described it as a dictatorship, and I believe them. To claim I declined to answer the question is categorically false. That is not journalism. It is misinformation.

This is what winning looks like, having a movement so successful that people start trying to reconcile their old values with new ones. People in this state need to be handled carefully or they regress. Amenability to socialism is the victory here.
