Tune in to @NewsNation's "Cuomo" this evening from 8-9pm ET to see @Project21News Chair Horace Cooper go head to head with host @ChrisCuomo and others.
"What do you call a society where the general populace receives government‑funded housing, health care, and children’s education, yet still lives at or below the poverty line? Where families endure generational misery while the top ten percent—the governing class—enjoy stable homes, intact families, elite schooling for their children and comfortable lives insulated from the consequences of their own policies?" asks Project 21's Kendall Qualls.
"It’s not Venezuela or Cuba. It’s the inner cities of Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles and other urban cores in the U.S.
"In these cities, the wealth gaps between black and Hispanic citizens and white citizens rank among the highest in the nation, with generational poverty deeply ingrained for decades. Large swaths of America’s urban cores now operate under a system that looks and functions remarkably like the socialist countries we ridicule. Government housing projects, Medicaid dependency and failing public schools dominate daily life. The results are measurable and grim: concentrated poverty that persists across generations, elevated crime, fatherless homes and diminished hope.
"Meanwhile, the political class that administers these programs—mayors, council members, school administrators, nonprofit executives and community organizers—live far removed from the consequences of the policies they defend."

"There is a disconnect between nationally elected black leaders and real black people," Project 21's @LindaLeeTarver told @AFN_Network.
“President Obama coming in — not being effective for the black community while president — does not serve El-Sayed in my opinion."

Runaway lawsuits are costing American families thousands of dollars a year.
Project 21 Chairman Horace Cooper explains how abusive litigation drives up prices, burdens businesses and leaves consumers paying the bill — and how major cases before the U.S. Supreme Court could help rein it in.

Veterans deserve better than partisan games.
Project 21's Emery McClendon says the VFW is letting politics stand in the way of legislation that could deliver real benefits to veterans and their families.
“When the VFW veers instead into partisan political squabbling and attention-seeking obstructionism, I can only be disappointed.”

Who elected California to make the rules for the rest of America?
Former Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill warns that California is using its massive market power to force its policies on businesses and consumers nationwide.
“That is not federalism,” writes Curtis, who now serves with @FreeEntProject and @Project21News.
He explains how other states can fight back and reclaim their right to govern themselves.

“Is this about genuine accountability, or is the county executive trying to save face after the controversy became public?”
In the Washington Times, Project 21’s LaToya Nkongolo calls out Prince George’s County, Maryland, officials after questions surfaced over untraceable grant money.
She says the response looks “reactionary rather than proactive.”

Starbucks’ $1 million DEI settlement sends a message corporate America shouldn’t ignore.
In a new commentary, former Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill explains why Florida’s action isn’t a political stunt. It’s about enforcing longstanding civil rights law and ensuring employment decisions are based on merit, not race or sex.
