Emergencies like this one compound humanitarian challenges for communities. In Venezuela, Project HOPE's Regional Director Adib Fletcher spoke with @AJEnglish from our mobile medical unit about the needs on the ground, where Project HOPE is prioritizing our efforts, and why this response is so complex. Clean water, primary and mental health care are crucial with so many families displaced and navigating severe stress, grief and trauma.

"Our programming is implemented in 55 health centers. However, for this emergency, we are supporting seven health centers within the Capital District, seven in Miranda, and five in La Guaira...On the night of the earthquake, we mobilized to the three main ambulatory emergency rooms in Caracas: one in El Hatillo, the main emergency room in Chacao, followed by the Baruta emergency room.
