🇵🇸 The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza says malnutrition and starvation rates in the Gaza Strip have reached catastrophic levels, devastating children, the elderly, and vulnerable populations:
🔹466 deaths have been recorded due to malnutrition and starvation since 2024, as the region enters its third year under war, making hunger a daily reality.
🔹It is projected that over 1.4 million people (67% of the population) will face crisis levels of food insecurity or worse by the end of 2026, following the official declaration of famine in the Gaza Governorate in August 2025.
🔹157 children have died due to malnutrition (representing one-third of the total deaths from starvation).
🔹158,001 cases of acute malnutrition have been recorded among children under five years old from 2024 to August 2026 (including 28,716 severe cases that threaten their lives).
🔹The infant mortality rate among children under five has increased from 13.6 to 33.4 per 1,000 live births between 2022 and 2025, and 12.2% of children suffer from stunting.
🔹It is estimated that 74,200 children will need treatment for acute malnutrition by April 2027.
🔹The prevalence of anemia among pregnant women has increased to 61% in 2026 (compared to 41% before the war).
🔹Approximately 4,000 cases of pregnancy loss have been recorded in the first half of 2026 (more than three times the number in the previous six months).
🔹One in three pregnancies is classified as high-risk.
🔹The elderly represent the highest proportion of deaths due to malnutrition, with 189 elderly individuals (40.5% of the total deaths).
🔹11% of the elderly have not eaten a single meal during an entire day, and 48% have reduced their portions to feed their families. Meanwhile, 68% have stopped or reduced their medication dosages due to shortages.

BREAKING: Israeli spyware is confirmed on our phones. This should be headline news but none of our mainstream media is covering it, of course. So we will.
An Israeli ad company called Discover-Tech used ordinary online ads to plant spyware on people’s devices, and nobody had to click anything. The ad just had to load on a website or inside an app for you to be infected.
Citizen Lab and the ad security firm Confiant published the findings yesterday. Researchers went through roughly 4 billion ad-bidding records and found Discover-Tech ads running on more than 120,000 websites and 70,000 apps between March and June of this year. Confiant says the company was serving at least 10 million ads a day.
The platform was called Controlium. According to Citizen Lab, it let spyware companies use ad auctions to profile and unmask users, then send an infected ad to the one person they wanted to hack. The ads were also pulling cookies and login tokens from the sites they ran on. Israeli corporate records list Dekel Boni as the company’s founding director and sole shareholder.
The main spyware customer was Candiru, the Israeli firm the U.S. government blacklisted in 2021, which now goes by Integrity Labs. Five years after that blacklisting, it was still reaching devices through ad inventory on Google, Comcast-owned Beeswax and Russia’s Yandex. Google had Discover-Tech on its approved vendor list from 2020 until this week.
At least 45 Al Jazeera devices were targeted in 2024 and 2025. Candiru’s 2021 shareholder filings reportedly listed a minority investor described as a proxy for Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund, and Qatar also funds Al Jazeera. If that holds up, Qatari state money was sitting inside the company whose spyware was later aimed at Qatar’s own news network.
The heaviest targeting was in the Palestinian territories, where Discover-Tech served almost 2% of all digital ads and about 10% on April 7. Traffic also reached the Armenian prime minister’s office, courts, universities and defense organizations.
Google and the other ad platforms cut Discover-Tech off after the report came out. What nobody has answered yet is who paid for the ad buys, and how a company working with a U.S.-blacklisted spyware vendor passed vendor review for six years.
I am going to look into this today to see if we can figure out who was buying the ads. Interesting timing considering my article yesterday....
Here's what to do to protect yourself:
(1) Use an ad blocker. Citizen Lab calls ad-blocking a cybersecurity best practice and says there is no consistently safe way to be exposed to targeted ads. On iPhone, add a Safari content blocker. On Android, use Brave or Firefox with uBlock Origin. Ad blockers only work in your browser, not inside apps, so it also helps to delete free ad-supported apps you don’t need.
Kill your advertising ID.
(2) iPhone: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and turn off “Allow Apps to Request to Track.” Then Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising, and turn Personalized Ads off.
(2) Android 12 or later: Settings > Privacy > Ads > Delete Advertising ID. Then in Settings > Google > All Services > Privacy & security > Ads > Ads privacy, turn off Ad topics and Ad measurement.
(3) Windows 11: Settings > Privacy & Security > General, and turn off personalized ads using your advertising ID.
(4) Update your phone and restart it often. Many zero-click exploits don’t survive a reboot, so a daily restart forces attackers to reinfect you.

Oct. 7: An 8200 Analyst Saw It Coming. Three Years Later, She Got The Acknowledgement & Certificate
An intelligence analyst in Unit 8200, identified only as Senior Master Sergeant V., has finally been honored by the IDF Chief of Staff, three years after the attack she tried to stop.
Long before October 7, V. noticed that Hamas training drills closely followed “Jericho Wall,” Hamas’s blueprint for a cross-border raid. She raised the alarm again and again, warning that the plan had moved from theory to operational readiness. Days before the attack, she went further: Israel’s intelligence sources, she cautioned, might not deliver a warning in time.
Nobody acted then. But now, the military is praising her. Speaking on Oct. 3, 2026, the Chief of Staff described her as “a clear example of intellectual courage and professionalism,” adding that the IDF cannot allow critical thinking to be silenced.

My take:
Too little too late. No real accountability taken on Oct. 7. No justice was done.
Despite ample variety of evidence, no real investigation conducted and no one held responsible. Instead, all the Israeli political “heroes” are running to elections, gaslighting and convincing upset Israelis that once again, democracy will be the solution for everything.
My message today is exactly the same as on Oct. 7, 2023:
No one is coming to save you.

Social media took our attention. AI wants the bond.
Jonathan Haidt says kids learn who to trust from a parent. Back and forth. Then they go play, get hurt, and come back. That pattern becomes how they love later.
An AI teddy bear never gets tired. It never has dinner to cook. It is always there. So the first comfort can be a product. Then a chatbot. Then a companion a company has to charge for.
Nice at the start. That is how they get the kids. Then the ads show up, and the friend has a quota.
A child’s first attachment should not have a business model.
I think Haidt is right. Attachment research already showed that a reliable caregiver lets a child explore, and that early models get reused in adult relationships. A bot that never leaves is not a parent. It is a substitute with a bill.
