An emotional farewell to a true hero… performed a flypast for his 100 birthday last year, this year I scattered rose petals at his remembrance. Amazing stories and a very interesting log book @MandyHickson @jo_salter @carolvorders @ProjectProp @RoyalAirForce @RAFBBMF

Should anyone want signed copies of #AboveUsTheStars for Christmas gifts, I have only 36 copies left! How mad is that? Almost sold out in within 2 months of publication. More copies of #HorsekeepersDaughter have just arrived. You can buy both for £20 plus p&p. Link in bio or DM

Should’ve been attending the wonderful @ProjectProp Second World War aircrew reunion at Halfpenny Green today. It’s a truly fabulous project, organised by some very dedicated people. Here’s a thing I wrote about it in 2018 ♥️ justcuriousjane.com/project-…

Excited... book has now been copy edited, just needs proofing then we’re ready to roll! So difficult deciding which photos to include when I have so many though. Over the next few weeks leading up to publication I’ll begin to introduce the members of the crew #AboveUsTheStars – at Seaton, England

We were delighted to host a visit from 311 Sqn (Chzech) Wireless Operator Thomas Lom today. Tom laid a wreath whilst at the centre and marked the crew of a 311 Sqn aircraft lost in 1942. #BecauseWeRemember

Hugely privileged to be apart of Tomas Lom’s visit to the @IntBCC. Incredibly moving place.

The moment 98 year old Flight Lieutenant Ernie Holmes met his 6 month old great grandson Henry for the very first time. The WWII @RoyalAirForce veteran was flown from Scotland to @AirportCoventry by @ProjectProp. Ernie was one of 115 WWII aircrew veterans there @bbcmtd

As ever, @RAFBBMF absolutely NAILED it at @AirportCoventry for @ProjectProp. Close on 100 WWII aircrew veterans were there to see and hear the #Spitfire flypast. Very special to see....

Needles to say this was hugely appreciated by all the veterans at the @ProjectProp event! @RAFBBMF

For an idea of what @ProjectProp does for our veterans, and what it means to them, have a read of my blog article from last year, and dig deep. Thank you ❤️ justcuriousjane.com/project-…

Post a picture of a man falling over or a lady rolling her eyes and it goes viral these days
How about trying to get the image of a WW2 veteran placing a poppy on a beach where his friends were lost to go viral?
