Congrats to Garv Sauce on a solid career. Will never forget Garver’s grand slam in Baltimore or his ground ball single in Arizona en route to our first World Series championship. All the best in retirement, Mitch!

Hamilton Wise has been promoted to VP of Amateur, Domestic and International Scouting by the Texas Rangers, per sources. Wise is now one of the few scouts to hold a leadership role overseeing both the amateur draft and international scouting, which speaks volumes about his performance on the international side alongside his scouting group, with several talents being promoted this 2026 season. Multiple teams were actively pursuing Rangers scouts, including Wise, before he received this promotion.

Some news: On Thursday, I was told it was my last day at the On3 National News Desk. I am grateful to have worked with a great team for nearly five years. There are too many people to thank in one tweet. As for what’s next, I’m not sure. If you or anybody else know of an opportunity, my DMs are open or my email is in my bio.

I can't remember where I heard it...but someone once said "baseball at its highest level is the best sport" and they're not wrong

"My mind was purely focused on being a starting pitcher." Jacob Latz geared up for 2026 as a starter before being named an All-Star closer and finishing with 30 saves for the @Rangers 🤯

Fun fact, the 2011 MLB Draft currently only trails the 1985 MLB Draft by ~8 fWAR for the most valuable draft in history. In 2027, it's almost a foregone conclusion 2011 will become the most valuable draft of ever.

In middle school, Ray Kerr spent nearly two years living in a tent in his grandma's backyard. One night, his father woke him and his brother up, had them pack and fled to Reno. Then they entered foster care Now, Kerr is the breakout star of October. wsj.com/sports/baseball/ray-…

The Fall League starts tomorrow. Here’s my watch list: 10 hitters, and how my system saw each of them all summer, one morning at a time. Gold = mornings flagged hot. Rust = mornings flagged cold. 🧵

Sebastian Walcott didn’t get going until July and still logged 26 hot mornings to 2 cold before Triple-A. @ProspectTimes Demetrio Crisantes is the only one here who made my Morning Signal three times in September. @dbacksprospectz

Very grateful and blessed for the opportunity I got this weekend to have media credentials to cover the Savannah Bananas at Globe Life Field. I am a traditional baseball guy and I didn’t know what to expect, but enjoyed it more than I expected. I’ll have an article out in a few days about my experience and thoughts about it. Here are a few pictures:

Thanks to all our fans and wonderful listeners/viewers for the privilege of bringing you another season of Rangers baseball. A group of very good men gave it their all and fell just shy on this cloudy and gloomy day in Minneapolis. Again - thank you all!
