For the past week, I have been locked out of my account, and the support for this app is atrocious. Automated emails saying they might help you, but with no follow-up. Email addresses, which lead to nothing. I even got an email saying my account was FINE and that I had control over it. No real person ever helped my situation, and there was literally nothing I could do about it. No live chat, no email to the help desk, nothing. Not to mention their "contact us" button on the support page leads back to the same exact page you click it at. Adding fuel to the fire, they emailed me an automated email saying "Twitter would like your feedback" and, using the old logo and brand, asked for my feedback over the non-existent support I received. There is an email at the bottom of the receipt when you pay for premium (which at this point I don't know why I did) which when contacted will give you an automated reply that the email does not work anymore. (so why do you still include the email address???) If you ever get locked out of your account like me, just assume that it's gone. I only managed to get back in because I found the 2FA code in my iPhone's settings. If I had changed my phone or lost access to my phone, I'd lose my twitter/X account. (I usually use an authenticator app, and didn't see twitter there) This might be the single most idiotic experience I have had with any app. Might switch soon (my anger is not even including the brain rot level of content this app now has become, twitter fell off)
