Matchmaking:
It's hard to find someone for a match. Challenging random wallets might not be suitable, because those wallets won't even notice. With matchmatching you can just queue and wait for someone to accept.
Wager matches:
You will be able to challenge someone for any whitelisted FT, like wNear, USDC or Neko. Winner takes it all.
Betting:
Similar to wager matches, but you can bet for other wallets to win against someone.

Newly launched inscription.near contract already has more than 1 million txs and nobody knows what it's used for but hopes for monetary value.
