Hey folks! Today I'm turning 24, and my first horror game EGRESS is now live on itch and GameJolt. It's been a year making this game and trying to be consistent, but it's finally here. I would appreciate any kind of support, even just a retweet. Links below 👇

The basement is still greyboxed, but the lighting gives it so much ambiance. #horrorgame #indiedev

Please just give us some good casts. Don't kill this one.
A movie based on the ‘MOUTHWASHING’ video game is in the works. Karyn Kusama is set to direct with Scott Derrickson set to produce. (Source: hollywoodreporter.com/movies…)

I'm building the basement for my horror game. What’s the most horrifying basement you’ve seen in a game or film? Need references.

I'm officially starting my first commercial game project. Wish me luck, guys. I will provide more details about the game soon.

After finishing two game projects that were supposed to be just for learning ( which somehow took me over two years ), I think I'm ready to start making commercial games since I’ve now learned how to actually ship a game twice. Making a commercial project is definitely challenging since there’s so much extra to learn, like Steam, marketing, trailers, social media... etc. But I feel like I can manage that side of stuff. The only thing making me second-guess myself is that I decided my next game will be a 3D project, and I have absolutely no freaking background in 3D art in general. I'm switching from 2D because 3D was my original vision from the very beginning. I realize now that I didn't actually need to start with 2D just to learn programming and all sorts of game dev. Tbh, I probably should have started with 3D instead of wasting time on projects that don't support my goal entirely. But it's part of the process, we live to learn. Sooo... I'm still thinking: should I just dive in and make my next project commercial even tho i need to learn 3D from scratch, or should I make one more small learning project to figure out 3D first, and then go commercial after that? What do you guys think?

I’ve lived long enough to see P.T. ported to PC. This is actually unbelievable.
P.T. PC Port 1.0.0 is out. A native PC port of P.T., running from your own PS4 copy. Windows, Linux and Steam Deck. DLSS, FSR, XeSS, ray tracing, photo mode, speedrun timer, a museum of the game's content, Game+, mods, and VR if you dare. Free and open source (MIT):⬇️⬇️

Being off social media for a week feels like I have been gone for a decade.

Before you play: I'd love anyone who comes across this, especially horror fans, to give it a try and be honest if anything sucks, and if anything is good. Thank you for your time <33 Play it here 🔽 - itch: protutyp.itch.io/egress - GameJolt: gamejolt.com/games/EGRESS/10…

My game "EGRESS" will be out tomorrow, and by that i'll officially have completed my second game and shipped it. i feel like i've learned and grown a lot, and i feel proud that i made something from actually nothing... a creation, a piece of art from a blank project, from just small thoughts in my mind into something people can actually experience. it's weird when you think about it, this makes me experience a new feeling that i can't explain for some reason. Even tho this game is also a learning project for me, same as my first one, they're both what made me who i am now. i do know that i'm nowhere near my goals, i'm still very veryyyy far away from what i want to achieve, but i've walked so far from where i started. My first game proved to myself that i can ship a project, and my second one gave me trust in myself that i can actually do it... again. even tho it took me more than a year, being on and off, not that consistent, cuz if i fully focused on it i would have complete it in 6 months or less. but at least it's eventually there. Thank you to anyone who supported my vision, my thoughts, my art, and especially me, even with small stuff you thought wouldn't make a difference. i just want to say that it did, and it means a lot to me. Thanks once again.

My game will be released in a week or less, depending on how many freaking bugs I got going on lately.
