Training in a group is great; makes things much easier. But eventually, you will need to learn how to train alone. You finish the race alone. Therefore, you need to train alone at times; with just your body and your mind.
The XC squad took a little run downtown this morning! We’ll be at @FloresvilleXCTF Invite tomorrow morning!
Congrats to Senior Avery Parvin who closed out her HS T&F career with a 3rd place performance in the @TappsTrack 5A Girls 100m hurdles.

Miss Avery. One of the most versatile athletes on my @Provet_XCTF team. 300h, 800m, relays! Here she’s anchoring our SMR team to a victory, getting the baton 20m down. Great teammate, leader!

If you’ll notice, I’m rarely, RARELY, surprised by your great results. Today isn’t my first day coaching. What I am surprised with is why my confidence in you exceeds YOUR confidence in you. Think and dream about your future. I already have. #TOD
A great week of #trackandfield for our HS & MS teams! Lots of PRs and a school record!! #provets

I make VERY few exceptions to my ‘one positive tweet per day’ rule.
So today, Jim, I’m making an exception for you. Don’t expect this treatment in the future.
My message is:
Jim…..sign.
Go Blue
Girls from our MS and HS spent 6 weeks of putting in solid work in preparation for the upcoming XC season. Today was the last day of summer running camp!!
