Congratulations to Dr. Stephen Chan on being named a 2026 Harrington Scholar-Innovator by the @HarringtonDI_UH.
Dr. Chan was honored for his work on developing a new therapeutic approach for pulmonary hypertension, a progressive and often fatal lung disease. 🫁

It’s been a real pleasure working with @chansteve73 and @KeYuan_BCH groups to publish back-to-back Circ. Res. papers on RNA editing and its impact on innate immune signaling in PH🫀🫁
RNA editing is a critical mechanism shaping type I interferon (IFN) signaling, and in PH, immune and inflammatory pathways continue to emerge as major contributors, clearly not going away anytime soon!
