The show cancellation is such a shame. You can easily trace who I am back to classic RW, which hooked me at 4yo. Wanting to compete drove me to gain niche skills, which lead to a direction in life. I hate that this may not be possible in the UK ever again. #BringBackRobotWars
Giant - Lego - Christmas tree. That's about everything you need to know about this huge project with @ruthamos (and kindly supported by @polymaker_3d) - Full video will hit YouTube next week! 🎥

I dropped out of school at 15 and was working at a high level in engineering by 19. I taught myself everything. Possible because I had enough time to learn young, and wasn't trapped into a shitty "education". Nothing should be compulsory, maths included. #MathsUntil18 #RishiSunak
Windscreen wipers should sync to the music you're playing as standard. Make it happen @elonmusk
Hint hint. Hint. Hint hint hint hint.
Wink.

That’s a great decision @davechannel, to resurrect a prematurely cancelled BBC show. In unrelated news I have a number of robots in my shed I would like to discuss with you.
For £73.49 including delivery within 10 days on @banggood, this @andonstar AD208s #microscope seems like pretty epic value! Big display, should capture 1080p video and takes an 18650 cell for remote use. Pays for itself with 1 dead VESC 4.12 DRV8302 chip successfully replaced! 🔬
In England we call this things like "force majeure" and "extreme weather conditions" and "logistical nightmare". #snow
Selfish reason why @BattleBots should be on UK TV: it'll increase chances for people like me to find sponsor support. Robots push the limits of #rapidprototyping, consumer hardware, industry standard tools like @SOLIDWORKS and hobbyist enterprise! ⚙️chng.it/jShfQZrSbw

Hey @angelascanlon @daraobriain! Hopefully you still have a soft spot for #RobotWars? The US equiv is still going & they're endorsing this push to show the UK wants robots back. Exposure past the hardcore fans is hard. A tweet would be big if you'd consider it! -Yer old pal Ellis
UK fans ACT NOW If you want BattleBots to air in the UK SIGN THIS PETITION ASAP: chng.it/N2FK6c5jvk A fan from the UK has created a petition to prove there is still an audience for robot combat in the region. Sign, share and forward to your UK friends. Let’s blow this up!
Angela has retweeted, as has Lucy. Will you consider it for us @thetomska? Your base will inevitably overlap well with nostalgic #RobotWars fans, like yourself. 🤖♥️
Signed. These things come up pretty often, but this one is being endorsed by @BattleBots and several big teams, so in the otherwise miserable climate of 2020-1, I suggest we shelve the pessimism and sign anyway! What the heck. 🤷♂️ chng.it/jShfQZrSbw #battlebots #robotwars
