A2: Over the years, our most consistently visited walk is probably around @RSPBArne, great at any time of the year. Have never had a bad day there, but then there’s @dartmoornpa, @ExmoorNP, @BreconBeaconsNP, and anywhere by the sea. Variety wins.

A1: Basing Woods, north Hampshire. It’s our current ‘favourite’ because it’s the largest local accessible space, but it’s not our favourite in terms of where we’d prefer to walk, even if restricted to the rest of the county.

A4: Excluding the airport, the Croatian municipality of Konavle, has been described as “Dubrovnik meets Tuscany” [bit.ly/3prTdPe]; loved how unhurried it was, a place for quiet scenic & historic exploration, great coastline, good food.

A3: Watching wildlife anywhere, and at most times of the year, but, if we had to pick one favourite place & experience on #TRLT, it would be hard to beat a summer bear spotting trip to Knight Inlet, BC.

Today’s #BirdsSeenIn2021 comes from that well known spotting location, an Asda car park; dozen or so Black-headed Gulls, a Red Kite, and what we think is probably a immature Lesser Black-backed Gull (Larus fuscus) on street lighting.
