We buried our son today. We enter a new phase of grief now. Thank you, everyone - for everything. Here is Frankie's eulogy as promised. Also, a google doc link too, in case the screenshots are annoying: docs.google.com/document/d/1…

The response to Colophont has been so warm & generous. I hope you all find it helps your work connect with a wider, more engaged audience. Tons of great writing on the site already. X didn't show me this @BurialMagazine, but Colophont knew I'd love it. colophont.com/post/cmvsitbyk…

I love great writing and hate how it's treated on the internet. So I built something to try to fix that. If you wish there were a better place to share your writing, to discover new work, to talk culture and books, then I invite you to read—and to join me.

Why don't they just leave NYC? I'm not trying to be callous, but there's a whole wonderful world out there that's more affordable. nytimes.com/2026/10/25/nyreg…

Can’t Afford a Home. Can’t Afford a Baby. Can’t Afford Life. This is 30.

They’re trying to build middle-class lives in New York. But many 30-year-olds in the city feel worse off than their parents. Is it average adult angst? Or something more enduring?

hard to look at the Catapult situation and think it amounts to anything other than unionbusting by a rich kid who decided to take her ball and go home, even worse when you remember that Counterpoint has a legendary backlist they’ve been selling for pennies on the dollar for years
