We have only seen ordered fragments of these whole places. That’s not speculation that’s actually just the case. There is still a ton of mystery about their origin and function.

Not everything needs to have a function. You could say the same thing about playing Warcraft itself. Not everything we do is for utility, but fun. This coming from someone who barely engages with housing at all.
