Quinnipiac head coach @RandPecknold is two wins shy of 700 wins. He can reach that milestone this weekend in upstate New York when league play opens against Cornell and Colgate. Rand is also 10 wins behind Don Lucia (708) for 6th all time.

Need 4 more to close out the ECAC and two more to close out Hockey East. The challenging ones will be some of the Atlantic, CCHA and Independent schools. Big Ten already closed out.

Andon Cerbone had a hat trick, and Christian Kirsch accounted for a +2.06 GSAx, though the Friars won xG 3.06-2.58. Andrew Strathmann had 2 assists. Andrew Centrella scored Providence’s lone goal.
This arrived today when I got home from the Quinnipiac game. Will be listing it soon for a NoDak fan to bring home one of the best college jerseys back to Grand Forks.
Hard to believe Providence was ranked 5th. Quinnipiac really dominated this game. The Friars have literally played no one until today.
Quinnipiac defeats Providence with a dominant effort 5-1. 30 saves for Christian Kirsch in the win. ECAC play begins next week with a road trip up to Cornell & Colgate.
