Today’s editorial in The West Australian gave me heart. Sheep producers are facing as tough a time as ever at the moment. Thank you to the editor for showing producers that support for them does exist in the metro area. Live Export is essential to the Australian sheep industry.

What a whirlwind couple of weeks we have had. Being nominated for such a prestigious award was humbling in itself but to walk away a national winner was truly spectacular. Thanks to Coles and @theweeklytimes. Excited to crack on with our breeding journey #maternalmerinos
Last day of our #QFHtassietour and we were immersed in the world of aquaculture today. Thanks to #tassal for spending time today with us at the hatchery and the fascinating discussions that ensued. Makes sheep farming seem pretty uncomplicated 🐑 🐟 #zoetis #adama @TassalSalmon
Day 3 of our #QFHTassietour and we were fortunate to spend time with Professor Meixue Zhou, barley research scientist in the pre-breeding space looking at abiotic stress tolerances. #utas #adama #barley Pretty damn awesome lunch too! @curringafarm
Great to be able to spend the morning with George Shea of the famed Lyndall Lamb near Hamilton, especially the discussion on sheep handlers #lyndalllamb #paddocktoplate #zoetis #combiclamp #QFHTassietour
Day 2 of our grower study tour to Tasmania. A stunning Tassie day to be out on farm near Kempton, blown away with the yield potential and productivity in this part of the world. Thanks for having us.

Hop to it! Thanks to HPA @HopProductsAus for the fascinating tour this morning - as growers of malting barley these guys learned heaps about the ‘other’ important ingredient in beer. #qfhtassietour #aussiehops
