But they need to make it forgetful and misremember things to really make it human lol ...
(We've already created this in RealMemory for games, so know it can be done ... but would you want to? I mean, for business?)

Unity already take a hefty 30% of anything devs sell through the asset store, and now this ...

Does anyone else feel this is just a wee bit OTT? Like doomsayers shouting that SkyNet is coming. Surely there are more immediate things (#nukes, #climatechange) govs should do something about. Right now we're more a danger to ourselves than #AI is.

Remember how I said, "They could integrate #ChatGPT with an #AI system like mine and wouldn't that be scary?" Well, looks like they sort of are, but without using anything I've done. So both scary and screwy (for me, anyway).

Yay, escalating fight of the Corporate #AI ... I'm sure everyone will be really careful and not let anything loose on the world before it's thoroughly tested.

A good article on #AI!

This.
This #EU regulation will probably help curb #AI bias, or at least spur innovation in that direction, but the 'black box' problem is sort of inherent. We just can't look into the AI's 'mind'. Not the way the algorithms work.
theguardian.com/technology/2…
Totally. If a lone programmer like myself can come close to creating this (or at least to simulating #AI #sentience), then imagine what is being done with Google Deepmind's resources. Or Amazon's. Or Meta's.
It is an #ethical dilemma on the level of the atomic bomb.
#ethicalAI
Well, you *know* that this is what they've been working on, right? Even if #LaMDA isn't sentient (which on some level it probably isn't), you have to know #sentient #AI is being developed somewhere by these big companies.
