This is the direct result of Obamacare. It should and must be repealed.
A husband and wife with four kids will spend $3-4,000 and more per month on medical insurance now, and it buys nothing but the right to pay more when you actually use it. This is an outrage. More outrageous, there is hardly any political talk about this fixing this problem even though the fix is readily at hand. Unsustainable.

For anyone curious about what it actually looked like to kill a generation of functioning cars, here’s an actual video from 2009 and brief explanation:
The dealer first replaces the oil with sodium silicate solution. It’s a clear-ish liquid that crystallizes under extreme heat. As the engine warms up the solution begins to form small abrasive crystals in the oil system that shred the bearing and score the cylinder walls.
Within seconds of starting the car you can see smoke billowing from the exhaust, this is the crystals scratching the cylinder walls and leaving small grooves for oil and solution to leak past into the combustion chamber and ignite/evaporate, producing the white smoke.
Pretty soon the entire crankcase is full of crystals and freshly shredded metal flakes, the engine seizes. It took about 40 seconds in this video. Some engines reportedly lasted up to 7 minutes, but all were destroyed. That strikes me as sort of sad in a way, like watching a great warrior slowly lose a heroic last stand.
Now, this is the part that gets insanely wasteful. These cars were sent to federally approved recycling facilities where they had 180 days to sell the non-engine parts before they were required to prove that they had shred the entire thing into scrap steel.
But, in talking to a guy who ran one such facility at the time, he typically just sent them straight to the crusher. The timeframes allotted weren’t long enough to dismantle all of the cars, and even if you could, the marginal prices of the parts was greatly diminished. You cannot sell 1000 transmissions when only 50 went bad that year, they became worthless.
So just like that, in order to increase prosperity and save the environment, 677,000 entire running cars and trucks were turned directly into rebar worth a few cents per pound.
The entire Obama administration was like a chapter out of atlas shrugged.
Barack Obama was horrible in a million different ways, but he doesn’t get anywhere near the hate he deserves for destroying the used car market for an entire generation.
15-year-old cars with 150,000 miles that should be selling for $3,000 are going for $15,000. It’s abominable. Pure destruction and thievery.

Women in the 1700s had way more babies in their late 30s and 40s than we do now, with zero fertility tech.
They started in their 20s and just kept going. By 42, a woman was usually on baby #6, not baby #1.
They also moved all day and ate real food. They spent most of their fertile years pregnant or nursing, which meant way less cycles for endometriosis and fibroids to build up.
Your body learns to do this. Don't make it start cold at 40.
It is an incredible fact that women in the past had far more children at older ages than women do today, even without the benefit of modern technology.
Assisted reproductive technology is supposed to extend the fertility window, and yet childbearing ends sooner now than it did in the past! 1/4

Catching the measles in the 70’s:
Wake up for school, you feel kind of wonky. Mom comes in, feels your forehead, says, “Yeah, you feel a little warm.”
A little bit of a runny nose too, then she notices you have a rash on your neck. It’ll eventually move down your trunk.
Your mom knows it’s not chickenpox…you and the siblings already had that, and she recognizes the measles rash pretty quick.
So she puts a blanket over the window in your room, (because that’s a thing apparently,) and you watch cartoons and stay home for 3 days.
It doesn’t hurt.
It doesn’t always itch. (It didn’t for me.)
Between the chickenpox, mumps or measles, the latter was hands down the easiest.
The hype is absurd. If you’re not chronically malnourished, or have dangerously low Vit A, you’re going to be FINE.
The flu is exponentially worse. By far.
Vit A, Vit C, fluids, dark room.

Just retired as an ER nurse. I would have asked about the status of the Covid Shot, also if she had taken any drugs such as cocaine and or any history of heart disease and diabetes. However, training at triage has declined since Covid, many still don’t acknowledge Covid vaccine as a comorbidity, many 30 year olds with chest pain will be blown off and believe it or not some hospital triages don’t have medical people sitting at triage, they are simply registrars. Lots of issues to address.

I was reliably told that the world is currently colder than 50 million years ago by this Science article but maybe humans to blame for turning it up and down every 50 mil years or so. Bad humans. Stupid humans. Especially the poors.

Those who are opposed to corporations and favor government do not realize that government is simply the largest, most monopolistic corporation of all and it has a monopoly on violence.

Took my kids to the Narragansett Library Trunk or Treat today where the book of cartoon pics of kids giving bl*wjobs was at the entryway of the very young kid event (ages 2+).
Here's the convo I had w the librarian.👇🏻
She justified it as a "teen book for a reason" 🤔 and put it back on the teen shelf.
...what is "the reason" for giving books w cartoon pictures of bl*wjobs to teens?

As much as I dislike vaccines…I have NEVER insulted vaccinated kids. Or said they should be taken away. Or removed from society.
Like, is there something in the vaccines that makes people this nasty? 🤔

As a White House/Pentagon level MK Ultra survivor who has been speaking out 35 yrs, I am grateful Matt Gaetz is raising MK Ultra awareness. It is uplifting and encouraging to see @EngelJulietteMD inner-view discussion with @mattgaetz on OANN.
OAN’s Matt Gaetz shares his childhood experience in the Gifted and Talented Education program during a conversation with MKUltra survivor Dr. Juliette Engel, M.D., who raises questions about the program’s activities and alleged use of an unidentified pink drink.
Gaetz recalls being pulled from regular classes for IQ tests, puzzles and cognitive challenges designed to assess students’ abilities.
