So much education leadership energy going into managing parent groups that are hostile to antiracism. What would happen if similar energy went into truly collaborating with, mobilizing, and building solidarity with parent groups that are demanding antiracism?

The kids are alright.
Oh my God. A student just called out a Moms for Liberty founder and school board member after it was revealed she had a threesome while slandering LGBTQ people for “sexual immorality.” xitter.cf/LoneStarLeft/status/17…

👥 Students who have #IEPs are not "special education students." They are simply students. They belong to every educator they have. Receiving a service shouldn't impose an identity. #LeadInclusion #EdLeaders #Teachers #UDL #TeacherTwitter
A MUST READ!

ALT "I am not the first person to say this, but one of the best things you can do as a lifelong learner is this: when you learn something new, instead of saying, “Why is no one talking about this?' look for the people who HAVE been talking about it and amplify their work." —Alex Shevrin Venet, Educator

Grading students on their work habits is ableist. Eliminate that category from the progress reports/ report cards + those thoughts from your mind

Student voice, absolutely. But it's not students' responsibility to expend the emotional, intellectual, and other labor required to transform conditions harming them. That's OUR responsibility. If we listen to what they demand every day we will have much of the info we need.

I am appalled by today’s Board of Education decision to allow PragerU to operate in New Hampshire. I will fight for every child in our state to receive a quality education and I will never allow an extreme right-wing organization to influence their learning. #NHPolitics
