Theorem became aware of the desert through him. Countless experiences gathered into one luminous presence. Far away, beneath unfamiliar mantles, other visors lit. The collective had his signal. The planet was no longer his discovery alone.
TThe first bot carried his fear. The next carried his view. Across the dunes, buried SEEKER NET screens woke in sequence. His call passed beyond the swarm, into a mind built from every Seeker who had ever answered.
One arm remained free. Quill reached through the coils, his visor flaring against the dust. He opened the channel to the nearest bot. No survey. No coordinates alone. This time, he sent what it felt like to be trapped.
The basin rose around him. Quill drove a pulse through the first tentacle, forcing it back. The others tightened around his boots and waist. Each strike drew more limbs toward the sound. The fork slipped from his hand.
Wind stripped the dune from a darker stratum. Quill knelt beside its branching veins and sounded the fork. The veins bent toward him. Pale nodes opened along the rock. His visor had been mapping a living thing.
The blue signal held steady beyond the copper dunes. Quill followed, the swarm tracing his footprints from above. Beneath the sand, something kept pace. Whenever he stopped, it stopped too.

@SinnisterHarrow THIS SHIT NEAT!
6/6 • Beyond the bloom, the stone gave way to copper dunes. A blue signal flickered across the empty stratum. Beside Quill, a drone replayed the extra beat.
The distant light answered.
He started walking.
The migration ended beneath a bloom too large to fit inside the visor’s survey.
Quill sounded one cautious note.
Light traveled through its branches. A vast membrane opened.
The answer came back in his rhythm—with one additional beat.
The gliders arrived before the next geyser erupted.
One folded its luminous wings. The others followed, slipping through a passage the drones had missed.
Quill ran after them.
They knew when the valley would breathe.
