Notes that just sit there are expensive. Notes that an AI can turn into summaries, action items, or translated versions earn their keep. The difference is whether the tool treats your input as raw material or as a finished product.
I’ve started speaking longer, less polished thoughts because I know the system can structure them afterward. That permission to be incomplete in the moment makes the whole process less stressful.
Most people undervalue how much energy goes into translating thoughts into tidy text by hand.
An idea, a client message, a team follow-up.

AI coding is getting more interesting beyond just writing code. 👀
LongCat-2.5 from @Meituan_LongCat brings native visual understanding and long-horizon agentic coding together.
One thing I’d genuinely like to test: giving it a visual reference of a 3D scene, asking it to build an interactive version, then refining the lighting, textures, and interactions through follow-up prompts.
Curious to see how well it handles the entire workflow.

What if editing videos was as simple as telling AI what to do?
I tested CinLink, a local-first AI video assistant that lets you edit footage using natural-language prompts.
No complicated timelines. Just describe what you want, from trimming clips and adding subtitles to creating shorts and multilingual versions.
And the best part? Your original footage stays on your computer.
One video, multiple versions, simple instructions.
Here’s how it works 👇

Freelance editors, this is your last chance to catch CapCut PC’s Black Friday deal: 60% off Pro and 40% off Ultra. The offer ends October 30!
One product, multiple Halloween-inspired environments — that’s a pretty fun direction for a seasonal marketing video.

Photos are about to feel like postcards.
Every photo of a place is taken from where someone else stood. This street, captured by Hugh
Hou on the Insta360 X6, lets you pick the spot. I walked it myself: the jester statue, the red
phone boxes, the mural, a stranger in a white dress frozen mid-road.
A short 360° clip is all it takes. The Insta360 Spatial Capture turns it into a 3D space you can
explore. No scanning rig, no reconstruction software.
That's why this feels bigger than a feature. We went from photos to videos, and now to whole
spaces. Remembering a place can mean walking back into it.
There are places from my life I only have a few photos of. I'd give a lot to stand in them once
more and look where I want.
It goes well beyond memories:
→ Take the Tesla Roadster display at the Petersen Automotive Museum. Capture it once and
anyone can walk around the car long after the display ends
→ Property tours you can stand inside
→ One neighborhood, captured every few years
Tell me the first place you'd keep.

The scariest part of putting AI inside an app is when it confidently makes something up.
What I actually want from it:
> make the small decisions on its own
> show me the odds behind each call
> if there's no right answer, just say so and hand it to a human
That's Bivia from Articul8.
You can use it through the API, a browser plugin, or Claude Code with a one-line install
Would you trust AI to make decisions inside your app?

🚨 Elon Musk has dropped an unprecedented bombshell—right inside the White House, in front of Donald Trump: 💥🏛️🇺🇸
“From now on, you will no longer need to work for any company... I will make sure everyone on Earth enjoys a celebrity-level lifestyle and income!”
Musk is completely challenging the traditional concept of government-provided “Universal Basic Income” (UBI) designed merely for survival, presenting a radical vision of a new form of capitalism.
According to Musk, how will everyone become wealthy? 👇
As AI and robots produce goods and services 24/7 without limits, the overall standard of living for all humanity will skyrocket—as if everyone were earning an astronomical salary!
Musk confidently declares: “Everyone will have access to better healthcare than I personally receive!” Through the combination of superintelligent AI and precision surgical robots, top-tier medical care could become available to everyone at virtually no cost.
AI will handle the thinking, while robots build roads and structures, grow crops, and manufacture products. With forced labor becoming a thing of the past, the phrase “I don’t have enough money to buy what I need” could disappear from the human vocabulary entirely!
While 99% of humanity worries that “AI will take their jobs,” Musk envisions a future where “an army of autonomous robots will turn every single person into a king—living a life of total ease!”

CapCut Desktop’s Black Friday offer: 60% OFF Pro and 40% OFF Ultra, through October 30.
The challenge is adding a hook without covering the best part of the transformation. I'd use CapCut Desktop’s text tools to place a short opening line before the reveal, then keep the main visual clear when the car changes color.

Most OCR pipelines pick one parser per document. MiniCPM-OCR Jev makes the case for picking per region.
the setup they tested:
> MiniCPM-OCR 1.0, Xiaomi OCR and PaddleOCR-VL 1.6 all parse the same PaddleOCR-VL SDK layout crops of OmniDocBench v1.6
> same assembly rules
> MiniCPM-OCR Jev flags the low-confidence blocks, which get re-selected from the other two models' outputs
result: +0.18 overall for MiniCPM-OCR, +0.25 for PaddleOCR-VL 1.6. no retraining, no new parser, just swapping in better blocks.
the routing is the part i like. text from one model, a nasty table from another, one assembled page. the judge doesn't need to know which model is "best", only which output for this crop looks right.
open question if you're building this: cost. running three parsers on every block is wasteful. i'd run one, let Jev score it, and only fan out on blocks under threshold. needs its own eval, but that's the version i'd ship.
side effect: a parser doesn't have to top the leaderboard to earn a slot. it just has to be good at the regions the others choke on.

Your OCR says it’s done—but did it get everything right? 🤔 In high-stakes workflows, even a small error can be costly.
🚀 Meet the MiniCPM-OCR suite: an open-source solution to parse fast and guard the results.
Two new models:
🔹 MiniCPM-OCR 1.0 — SOTA OCR performance and speed at 1B scale. Compact, accurate, and fast.
🔹 MiniCPM-OCR Jev — A 2B decision model that helps assess parsing accuracy, with performance approaching that of Qwen3.5-397B-A17B on JevOCRBench.
⚡ What’s new?
Small model, SOTA results: MiniCPM-OCR 1.0 scores 93.68 on Real5-OmniDocBench and 54.7 on OCRBench v2.
A sharp goalkeeper 🛡️: MiniCPM-OCR Jev is model-agnostic, checking text, formulas, and tables from different OCR parsers. It achieves 93.6 on JevOCRBench, outperforming JEV-35B-A3B (90.1) and approaching Qwen3.5-397B-A17B (93.8).
Up to 128 pages per minute 🤯: With DSpark, MiniCPM-OCR runs at 1.49× the speed of PaddleOCR-VL-1.6 and 3.62× that of MinerU2.5 Pro. The SDK’s concurrency optimizations further boost throughput to as much as 128 pages per minute.
Deploy where you work: Day-0 support for Arm, Houmo AI, Intel, and NVIDIA, plus 10 more chip vendors through FlagOS.
Ready for your stack: vLLM, SGLang, llama.cpp, and Ollama, with quantized models, fine-tuning support, and Agent Skills.

Elon Musk
The remaining time is at most 5 years.
During this period, it's still possible to make money through "human labor."
But after that,
Most jobs that have been paid salaries until now
will become automated. The business of earning money will end.
The "meaning of paying money to humans" will disappear.
This system that's been going on for the last 200 years
"If you lend us your time for 40 years, we'll pay you a salary"
This will end... Work will end
In other words, history's largest-scale "money movement" will take place.
So, what's the situation now?
👉Some people have realized it and taken action
👉Many people are "waiting until it's explicitly stated in the news"
This "time gap between realizations" is everything.
So, what needs to be done in these 3 years?
Very Simple
"Transform your own time into an asset that machines cannot take away"
Specifically, the following
• Rare digital assets like Bitcoin
• Real assets like land or energy
• Computers or infrastructure
• Connections with people (network)
• The power to produce food or things necessary for life
What even is a salary???
"Just for having lent your own time"
If the value of that time,
becomes cheaper and superior with machines...
- That value will suddenly collapse
In the end, the only thing left will be this
"What you own (assets)"
In these 3 years
Those who can transform from
"a salaried person"
to
"an asset-owning person"
In 2035-2036
will be the "people who saw the future."
After that
• Salaries won't increase
They'll eventually become irrelevant
The only thing left is one
"Who owns what"
The door of opportunity is open right now.
But it's closing faster than everyone thinks.

Sam Altman says OpenAI's current best internal model is too powerful to release openly any time soon.
Before that could happen, the whole cyber defense setup of the internet would need to change and the world would need a new layer of protection against biological threats.
