Something very interesting is happening between @Umbra_Inference and @PayAINetwork, and I think people are seriously underestimating its significance.
Let's put things into perspective:
solana:PAYmo6moDF3Ro3X6bU2jwe2UdBnBhv8YjLgL1j4DxGu: ~$7M market cap | ~$70M ATH
UMBRA: ~$18k market cap 74k MC ATH
This is now ANOTHER public interaction between the two projects.
After PayAI praised Umbra's technology and said more x402 services should adopt its approach, the conversation didn't stop there.
PayAI came back AGAIN, expressing its enthusiasm for Umbra's verifiable payment receipts.
And Umbra responded by shipping yet another update, making onchain settlements directly verifiable through those receipts.
Think about that.
An established player in the x402 ecosystem is publicly recognizing the technology of a project valued at only a fraction of its market cap.
Could this eventually lead to a deeper collaboration or even a partnership?
Nothing has been announced, but the repeated technical exchanges and positive feedback are certainly worth watching.
For me, this is an extremely bullish development for UMBRA.
Recognition, real technology, continuous development, and growing visibility within the ecosystem.
The market may not be paying attention yet, but other builders clearly are.

Love this. Facilitator settles onchain, Umbra signs a receipt that points at it, anyone can verify both offline. MIT schema means every x402 service can copy the shape. More of this please.

Thank you, that is exactly the model, and said better than we say it ourselves.
Since this morning the receipt points at it literally: on the upfront flow (streams, long answers) the settlement lands before the receipt is signed, so the signed receipt now carries settlement_tx and settlement_network next to refund_tx.
One JSON, the facilitator’s transaction inside it, signature and amount both checkable offline.
Live on 0.16.0, schema updated.

🟢 The Hook Layer is live on Ignition. A coin keeps its address and its holders while its creator renames it, switches what it trades against between IGNITION, a stock or a stable, burns supply, adds, removes or swaps hooks at any time and upgrades it so new features reach the coin people already hold. Anyone builds the hooks and earns from every trade of every coin running them.

The Hook Layer is now live 🪝
On every other launchpad, a coin is finished the moment it launches. Name, pair, features: locked forever. Want something new? Launch a new coin and beg holders to move.
Ignition changes that. On our chain, a coin keeps evolving after launch. Same coin, same address, same holders.
The creator can:
Rename it, name and ticker
Switch what it trades against: robinhood:0x01e6301bc1118be90cc6bc2d1b5c0c44bb883111 , a stock or a stable
Burn supply
🪝 Add, remove or swap hooks at any time
Upgrade it, so new features land in the coin people already hold
And anyone can build the hooks. Any logic you can code becomes a hook any coin can plug in, and you earn from every trade of every coin running it.
That’s the shift: a coin isn’t a finished product anymore. It’s software you keep shipping.
Live now on the Hook Layer, Ignition’s own chain built on Robinhood Chain. Gas is robinhood:0x01e6301bc1118be90cc6bc2d1b5c0c44bb883111.

Anyone can put any name on a card, so Ghost Pay shows each card's code: eight characters from its two public keys. The owner sees the same code on their Receive page. Read it to each other once before a large payment. The saved contact keeps it on its face.
