Shame on .@united By bringing in a new contractor, @United is forcing subcontracted EWR workers out of their HC, critical immigration legal benefits, & family-sustaining full-time jobs. I stand with EWR workers fighting for their jobs! #UnitedDoBetter #StandWithEWRWorkers

@VP This is a good template for the your EconomicOpportunity initiative: This tax template simplifies and lowers tax for the middle class while forcing corporations, and the rich to pay more that they are used to paying without punishing them for being rich. Here is is: Fair share: 25% of gross income (tax 18%, S.S. 5%, M.C. 2%). This goes for wages as well at cap gains. Corps just 25% to tax (no S.S. or M.C.). NO WRITE OFFS for wages you pay your employees, just on your other, operating investments and expendatures. National, median COST OF LIVING is about 40K, so TAX, S.S. and M.C. graduates until wage or income reaches a point where a 25%, federal payment will leave a 40K or higher net (abount 53 K today). These numbers will rise and fall with the C O.L index. Here, no taxes are paid up to over 40K, but there is still some work to do in order to continue to ensure S.S. and M.C. is paid by all. A 5%, national sales tax can also butress the general fund.

Maybe place 5% of the S.S. fund into a private investment portfolio to cover the retirement of those who do not earn more than 45K.

Since this tax is already pretty low, but covers everyone with an income over the median C.O.L. index, there should be no need to manipulate the tax burden with costs of operation. It's a win for all, with a slight, necessary increase for those high earners who pay nothing, or close to, as a percentage.

@Marvel Kevin Feige blames fans for The Marvels bad B.O. because they listen to reviews. For 100 years a potential audience has weighed reviews from previous viewers before watching a film. That is the long tradition of the movie industry. Now... you don't want that??!!!

@Marvel In what multi-verse should we not consider WORD OF MOUTH? No wonder your business model is failing...

@Marvel Kevin, Brie and others allude to anti-feminist sentiments causing the movie's failure, when even women aren't watching it. Make this make sense...

Chris Rock has used my family as punching bags for his entire career. Yet I am supposed to feel bad for him getting slapped and humiliated on the Oscars. After seeing a new clip of him attacking my dead uncle in the first minutes of his “Retaliation-I’m still relevant ”special, I have 3 things to say. 1. What did my family ever do to you to warrant these decades of harassment and your constant bullying disguise as jokes? 2. Just because you were bullied early on in life doesn’t give you the excuse to bully others now. 3. Thank you Will Smith.

If you work for @FoxNews and want to maintain your credibility as a journalist, now is a good time to speak out, or quit. Enough is enough.
Fox News makes it official: It will NOT show Thursday's 1/6 hearing like all the other major networks. Tucker Carlson's show will air as usual. Carlson promotes conspiracy theories about the riot, calls the committee "illegitimate," and ridicules the committee members.

Five times, I got the same reply from you. @Equifax got my FICO right. They understand that three, positive changes and zero, negative changes within a twenty four hour span should not yield a four point, negative drop in FICO. Thank you, @Equifax!!! Your logic is spot on...

@Experian_US I have an open issue with your customer service. I am not satisfied with your answer. Fix my FICO score.

On Thursday 04/08/2021 I was very good. On Friday 04/09/2021 I dropped to good. Everything that happened between Thursday and Friday were good indicators.

Experian and @myFICOCustCare are replying with boilerplate answers instead of reviewing my specific data and fixing the terrible logic that caused my drop.

People focus on the cost of paying employees well but not on its benefits. For us: Our happy employees drove record sales and we now have 20,000 small business clients. Our turnover is low and we spend $0 advertising openings since we get thousands of applicants.

Our success with a $70k min wage isn't some fluke. A Massachusetts biotech recruiting firm raised its min wage and saw revenue and headcount grow 50%, while retention rates doubled. Profit held steady despite the $500,000 cost of raises bostonglobe.com/business/201…

What helped inspire our $70k min wage? An employee was secretly working a 2nd job at McDonald's. It was clear I was an awful CEO who was failing his employees. I gave her a raise to quit that job. No one should have to work two jobs to make ends meet. youtu.be/4aLmrB_nOJ8?t=75

We started our $70k min wage with about 130 employees in Seattle. It worked so well we expanded it to a new Boise office, where the cost of living is lower but people deserve good pay all the same. We now have about 200 employees idahostatesman.com/news/busi…
