Make goals if you want to win one time.
Use systems if you want to win every time.
Focus on doing what you say you are going to do. Give your best effort, accept feedback and use it to get better, admit when you’re wrong and never give up.

No debt. Perfect weight. 8 hours of sleep. Mental health in check. Clean diet. Zero alcohol. That was my prime era. I was 10.
Not too high on the highs, not too low on the lows. Life will offer you both, how you respond matters.

He feels dogged by Utah University socials, punk’d at the kicking tee and sent home unwelcome.
Same guy, same approach different feel.
Not too high on the highs, not too low on the lows. It’s never as good or as bad as we think it is.

Everything is hard. Nothing works the first time. It all feels pointless. That’s when you realize you’re going to have to will it into existence with every ounce of your fucking soul. And that’s when it starts to happen.
Can we be in a hurry and still be polite?
Can we be angry and still be calm?
Can we endure suffering and still be happy?

Being 45 is such a strange experience.
One minute, you want to make more money, get ridiculously fit, reinvent your entire life, and become the healthiest version of yourself.
The next minute, you want to disappear into the mountains for three weeks, turn your phone off, avoid everyone, and remember what peace feels like.
You want adventure, but you also want your own bed.
You want to be productive, but you also want to cancel every plan you’ve made.
You want to build wealth, travel the world, and accomplish big things, but you also consider 8:30 p.m. a perfectly reasonable bedtime.
And honestly? A mug of hot chocolate, a cozy blanket, and absolutely nobody asking you for anything sounds like the ultimate luxury.
Is this what getting older feels like, or have I just reached the age where peace and quiet are the real definition of success? 😂
I need Tom Brady to follow me around and announce my life. Good \ bad all of it. Shit talking and all
We have to try things that are out of our comfort zone. Otherwise how will we ever know what we’re capable of.
