Jim Thome put it about as plainly as anyone ever has, saying the strongest thing he ever put in his body was steak and eggs and that steroids weren't even a thought for him.
Coming from a guy who hit 612 homers in the middle of the steroid era, that's not a small thing to say out loud.

Dear MAGA,
Do you see Russia as your friend now and Canada as your enemy?
Let's discuss, because that's how your boss seems to see it.
That's how Russian accounts seem to see it.
That's what the words and actions of the President of the United States of America seem to indicate.
So, is that how you now see it?

Dear American, you do not in any way fund our healthcare system. Yours is the most expensive in the world thanks to private insurance companies making profits off your sickness. I would tell Trump to spend less time worrying about our system and more time worrying about you own.
Everyone should avoid this stupid thing they call an event.
The Savannah Bananas are coming to Rogers Centre 🍌

In his season debut with the Carolina Hurricanes Bradly Nadeau found the scoresheet, recording a powerplay assist in a 3-2 victory against the Winnipeg Jets.
In just 16 career NHL games, Nadeau has 5 points (3G,2A) and is showing he's ready to play consistently at the NHL level.

I am really NOT sure this is true
Trump: "We have 5 states where your child goes off to school as Tim and comes back as Tammy 3 or 4 days later. It's true. And teachers make a decision. 'Goodbye Timmy I love you so much, I'll see you later.' And you say, 'Where's my son? My son is in the hospital.' Can you imagine? They don't even need approval"

Trump thinks, we, Canadians, do not deserve our universal healthcare system.
Donald, WE pay the taxes.
We make sure the poor, the downtrodden, the weak and the vulnerable get the same medical care as the rich, the lucky and the privileged.
We have equality, mercy, justice and humanity as values.
You and your voters do not.
My father is a surgeon, and he got 3 heart attacks working his heart out for any patient that came under his care.
Weeks that lasted from 80-100 hours of work.
Never becoming a millionaire ;what almost all surgeons are in the USA.
So shut up, you are insulting my father, and doctors and nurses all across Canada that are working under stress and hardship to keep our values alive.
And you insult all Canadians!

Trump: "I do not want to lose as your representative $90 billion for the privilege of allowing Canada to have a healthcare system and other things that they shouldn't be having"

US Census Bureau data put the US goods trade deficit with Canada at $48.3 billion in 2025, not $90 billion. That is US imports from Canada ($381.9B) minus US exports to Canada ($333.6B). For January–August 2026 the deficit was $33.7 billion. census.gov/foreign-trade/…
