This afternoon, a verdict was reached regarding the death of George Floyd. Our faith was placed in the judicial system and this afternoon justice was served. The more than 400 officers of @MiamiBeachPD remain committed to our community and the Oath we took, to serve and protect.

We are grateful to the Rotary Club of North Dade for their donation of masks. One of their members lost his father to #COVID19 and it was his suggestion to give back to first responders. #MBeKind

I appreciate the men and women of the @MiamiBeachPD as well as our local, state, and federal partners. Thank you for all you do to keep our communities safe. #LawEnforcementAppreciationDay

Not a day goes by where I don’t think of Larry. You’ll forever be close to my heart.

This weekend, I joined Police Chiefs from across Miami-Dade County in meeting with a group of peaceful protesters. Afterwards, we knelt in prayer. We remain open to a dialogue with our community so long as lawlessness does not ensue. We hear you. We are listening. #GeorgeFloyd

Pleased to see 5-15 Street on Ocean Drive is now closed to vehicles and open for pedestrians and bicyclists. Great use of the Archer Beam Gate for added safety.

Proud to join this group of advocates and share @MiamiBeachPD’s efforts to combat Human Trafficking.

One of my greatest accomplishments is being a training advisor at the Miami-Dade School of Justice. To date, I have led 47 police academy classes. The men in this photo are from my first class. I’m proud to stand by them 23 years later on Miami Beach.

The @MiamiBeachNews Mayor and Commission recognized Captain Danny Morgalo for his recent efforts surrounding #OperationSafeStreets. A great initiative designed to increase the visibility of our Officers. #YoutMBPD

Assistant Chief @PaulAcostaMBPD was selected to be the Graduation Speaker during today’s FBI National Academy graduation ceremony. Proud to be here to support him. #YourMBPD #FBINA278
