Withdrawals have now been re-enabled for the following networks and assets:

tBTC pause and security update
tBTC remains fully backed and no funds have been lost. Currently, 4,320 BTC sits in the bridge wallets against roughly 4,185 tBTC in circulation, and we've seen no unauthorized minting. Reserves can be verified on-chain here: app.threshold.network/explor…
New deposits/mints and redemptions remain paused while security maintenance on the bridge is completed.
The situation is contained and bridge functionality will resume once a full remediation is in place.
tBTC continues to transfer normally on Ethereum and L2s.
If you have a deposit or redemption in progress, it will complete after operations resume. Please don't send BTC to previously generated deposit addresses or repeat a transaction in the meantime.
We'll post the next update within 24 hours, or sooner if anything changes.

tBTC minting and redemptions temporarily paused
We have temporarily paused new BTC deposits/tBTC minting and new Bitcoin redemption requests through the Threshold app as a precaution while security maintenance is completed. Pending redemptions may still be paid on Bitcoin, but final settlement on Ethereum is paused and some transactions may be delayed.
Please do not send BTC to previously generated deposit addresses or initiate new deposit/mint or redemption operations through alternative interfaces during this pause.
If you have already deposited BTC, keep your deposit receipt and transaction hashes. Do not repeat the transaction to try to clear a pending status. You can continue checking its status in the app’s Explorer.
This pause does not affect holding, transferring or using tBTC.
We will share confirmed updates, including an estimated time for resuming normal operations when available, through Threshold’s official channels. Thank you for your patience.

Was awake until 4am trying to get funds out of Binance, and barely made 2H sleep from all the stress.
WHAT A WORLD
Binance's initial investigation suggests that the security incident may involve a compromised DevOps engineer’s laptop, which allowed an attacker to gain access to a service container and submit unauthorized withdrawal transactions. We have found no evidence of any wallet private key leak. We will share a detailed technical post-mortem once the investigation is complete and the facts are fully verified.
The estimated total impact sits at around $6.3B. We have worked with blockchain partners to freeze affected assets, with ~$3 billion frozen on-chain so far.
Binance will cover all losses from the SAFU fund and the company’s funds. User funds are safe. We will also publish an updated Proof of Reserves once the remediation is complete.
As an immediate precaution, Binance has:
- temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals while security checks are completed;
- revoked the affected address authorisation;
- engaged law enforcement and blockchain intelligence partners to trace and recover funds.
Our teams are working around the clock to resolve this issue safely and thoroughly. We are working closely with our law enforcement partners to confirm the identity of these criminals and bring them to justice.
