Strange. It was hard to broadcast over the noise of so many celebrating Brazilians.... I truly resent these people constantly crying victim when the tech bros give their views a reach they clearly don't deserve
Notice how there are ZERO Brazilians partying in the streets after Lula's "victory" The people of Brazil voted for Bolsonaro and had their hopes and dreams stolen yet again by the fascist dictator Lula.

It's pretty insane how there's a right-wing discourse in the United States that London is collapsing and unsafe. Crossrail alone feels like Star Trek compared to anything in New York. The London Underground has been modernized. Street infrastructure is better. And there's significantly less gun violence.
Real legacy achievement this and Khan deserves real kudos for cutting through everything to get here.

Striking how fast Reform went from free-press defenders to calling for the arrest of journalists who investigate it. Its move to the populist-authoritarian model is unlikely to do much for its poll rating.
STATEMENT: Reform UK has reported ITV, its board, and its undercover reporters to the police. Some of the crimes carry up to 10 years in prison. They forged a passport. They directly interfered in elections and almost certainly altered the results. Being paid to “canvass” for Reform in crucial wards we lost by a few dozen votes. They lied to a veteran about their service and left him “violated”. This is unprecedented. The police are now involved. Scrutiny of political parties is one thing. But anyone breaking the law to try and ruin the lives of Reform’s staff, members or volunteers will be reported to the police and pursued relentlessly in the courts. Here’s what happened 👇

If Musk is responsible for weakening Ukraine's defenses at this critical time, his businesses need to be excluded from any critical infrastructure in Europe. Not as a sanction, but as self-protection.

Client journalism
Pep arrived to the stadium directly from airport ten minutes ago He is sharing time with VIPs at the Chairman's suite And will go after the game (maybe go down to the changing room after to say hello to both managers and City players) He wanted to make sure to be part of today

Small boat arrivals are at a four year low and falling fast
The invasion is getting worse under Burnham. Only Reform UK has a plan to stop the boats forever and save Britain. 🇬🇧

This is about how the English game lost control by not caring who bought clubs in the 2000s. The fact that the Premier League now finds itself at war with its dominant club of the last decade — a club effectively owned by one of the UK's most important investors and allies — is the logical (or crazily illogical) conclusion of that free-market anarchy nytimes.com/athletic/7675375…

The thread that I'm going to tweet in the next few mins contains some seriously disturbing information about a sexual predator that landed Man City in court a few years ago. So, genuinely, if this is a subject that could adversely affect you, don't click on links, or mute me. 1/n

Fuck me it’s good when the good people are proved right.
Oh, BTW Bloo, I do some legal work for lawyers on a pro bono basis, eg when 8 former mcfc players went to court for careers lost after being sexually abused at City as kids by predatory paedophile Barry Bennell. City’s lawyers called Bennell to gaslight them in court, from prison

Erm. Not answering the question there, David. How about a simple yes or no? And if you have any proof the PL have hired external PRs to shill for them, please share and I’ll get digging.

Totally none of your business Nick. But do not make assumptions. Why don't you ask the Premier League who they have hired?

Peter Shilton had an England career that lasted 217 games, of which he played in 125 Harry Kane has had an England career that has lasted 153 games, of which he played in 124 So of course Harry Kane has done it in a quicker time which is much more impressive
🤷‍♂️ "The way they hand caps out now and the amount of games, it's not the same!" 🧢 "Shilton would have 200 caps if he played now!" Simon Jordan insists Harry Kane getting 125 England caps isn't as impressive as Peter Shilton's 125! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Good. Then FA, EPL, EFL etc needs to ban any state ownership of member clubs.
How does this Manchester City story end? Only in June, Khaldoon insisted there’s no plans to sell. Abu Dhabi expert Christopher Davidson (one of the longest standing academics on the region…) sees an exit as inevitable… From @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/7647115…

If we lose the appeal and are resigned to accepting we're guilty, I'll be gutted to see the back of the people who have systemically destroyed the club I love and support for their own vanity project and political gains. Sportswashing, incredible
The most conflicting thing for me... If we lose the appeal & are resigned to being guilty... I'd be more gutted losing the owners & Khaldoon more than losing the players. I just can't hate/dislike them. I will always appreciate everything they've done for the city & the club.

Here's the MoS story as it appears in the paper. And to be clear, it was a minority section of Man City's support who invoked Helen's death in their attacks against me. I rarely even referred to her illness before she died.
The human cost of reporting on Man City’s cheating for 15 years. It’s on the Mail website today and will be in the MoS paper tomorrow (Sunday) but they backed my reporting 100%. That reporting continues on my Substack. Google it for details. dailymail.com/sport/football…
